everything you just laid out makes sense, but where it falls apart is here where you mention something that has caught my eyes since ted price of insomniac is always pointing out.

what most of you here have to remember is that sony sold its share of the cell technology to toshiba a while ago for almost a one billion if i can remember correctly this actually took place right after toshiba call it quits with its money drainer of a format HD-DVD, in which they than loss about 800 mil or so of that battle.
sony just simply sold the tech as a result of finding ways to cut prices on its hardware manufacturing costs, so that made toshiba an almost exclusive manuf...
lol to be honest with you thats like saying any music records under sony/bmg music labels wont be compatible on 360's because sony owns patents to those.

After posting the PC World rumor earlier this month saying Portable Copy was going to be hitting the PS3 and PSP last week (and then finding out that, no it wasn't) I got a hold of Sony to find out what the time frame looked like.
I'm still pretty psyched about the ability to download my Blu-ray movies to the PSP for watching on the go.
Sony told me that according to Sony Pictures they expect to release the first Blu-ray disc ...

well, you're right but... perhaps there will be titles like Valkrya, Disgeae 3, and one from Ncsoft Aion:tower of eternity,which actually is more like an MMORG. also those 360 games such eternal sonata, and multi-platform games such as last remnant will grave the platform hopefully this year so.. there's quite a few actually. just not as much as FPS have become a more prefer genre this time generation.
not to mention i hear sony is working on sequels to Rogue ga...

i simply said that just like i don't care about these Episodic content coming to the 360 of the game, i don't care about some home features neither.
why? cuz this isn't the only game in the world people know about and play thats why, cuz this isn't the only game people are waiting for thats why? maybe because im pretty sure the world wont end after this game hits shores?
and its not like those will arrive shortly after the game releases ...

not to sound like some bias fanboy or anything but...
to me by that time those episodes do arrive in the fall, they wont mean much, heck i bet you 50 bucks that GT5pro will have more racing tracks and cars available and perhaps more modes and features, thus far making it more of a whole game than those countless PGR games. no pun intended.

There's too many multi platform games coming out this year. Exclusives are pretty limited on both consoles this year, but at least Japanese developers are finally starting to develop for the PS3 (come on White Knight Chronicles)

its simple yeah MS will gets its sales in, but the game itself isn't going to keep its fire forever to say keep people caring long after MGS4 arrives or other games behind it, so to me yeah its somewhat of a significance but as long i get the full story of the game and i can play it online with some friends i can care less really. the game is already a 100 hours long i think thats good enough for me ill take that.

you're a fool man, GTA4 i said to have HOME support which means trophies will be supported aka achievements.
and rumble? c'mon dude if you want rumble than you go buy rumble controllers or simply wait until they start **BUMBLING** them with the systems in the coming months i tell you this much MGs4 will come packed with one, and it will not only rumble,
