in my opinion, the only reason why these exclusives don't sell as much as third party games is usually because they are multiplatform.
and like gears selling well so does gt5 demo and mgs4, but it actually comes down to 2 things which ms is real good at by the way. 1 hype and 2 heavy marketing. look at mw2 for example.
give that same treatment to a game like killzone 2 which necessarily didn't get that or uncharted 2? and you will see the difference.

god of war isn't a clone to prince or Persia let alone ninja gaiden, being that these games have very different mechanics such as ridding a freaking Cyclopes, fighting enemies while on a rope, pulling enemies and kicking them of nets and walls, the puzzles the stories the characters are all different based on different mythologies and that's the problem with this game.
its too much like its maker, and really tries little to differentiate itself from it.

say here is this, this game better live up to its expectations. i mean the last game double agent wasn't exactly mind blowing and this game like so many delayed games does have the potential to be a very good game or end up like too human same goes for alan wake (shenmue) in this regards.

same here, i mean no offense, but the game just feels out of sync. its laggy, buggy and too clutter. i assume they were thinking of the numbers game and not so much of infrastructure which makes a game fun.
