I have played both Fallout 1 and 2 many times...There great games for there generation...but Bethesda have done the Fallout Universe perfect and I do not think that any other developer hired by Interplay will do near as good a job
I think Bethesda should not lose the IP or the MMO which I don't really want anyway. Bethesda should pay Interplay another "Fuck off" fee and Interplay should walk away. From what I have seen from the agreement the signed is that Interplay are only allowed use the the name for an MMO and not anything else from the Fallout Universe. Unfair? yes Is there a legal case here? They signed the contract so its there fault for not being more specific about what they wanted.

PS3 has a constant stream of downloads then installs then firmware updates then patches then more patches that when I havent used my PS3 in a a week or two it takes forever just to get the damn thing to play the game.
If you can put up with those flaws and have the slightest bit of intelligence and knowledge of PC hardware and software then you cant complain and the PC experience.
The game was all about the multiplayer but I enjoyed BF BC 2 campaign more than Black Ops. They both felt like nice optional extras I could breeze through in 4 hours or so each and while there was no meat to them they were a fun distraction. Considering the Developers generally cheap out on singleplayer modes these days it was nice to have something to do while servers were acting up or my internet was down
BS article but Sony have huge freaking problems with Bluray on the PS3. My original 60GB wouldnt read discs after a firmware update that updated the Bluray profile and I maintain to this day that it is Sony's fault.
Magic, Combat, Stealth, Travel, Quests, Guilds, How you interact with characters, the world around you and the enviroment, the story, the massive difference in visuals and sounds and the mechanics of the game engine are all completely different from morrowwind to oblivion. I know its just first details and I am sure there is more to come but at the minute skyrim is a lot closer to oblivion as compared to morrowind
hmmm Im really excited for the game but at the same time I loved Oblivion and played it to death but It doesn't really feel like there adding enough.
That list is mostly tweaks and fixes and nothing is a drastic change from oblivion. After 5+ years I was expecting something a little more epic and fresh.

Everyone is going about whats gonna make the uncharted movie suck but no one has actually said what they want from the movie there just bitching about the "problems" that the movie that has not even been made yet apparently has.
I think the change in the backstory and having anyone but Nathan Fillion to play Drake just blows but having said that if they don't change anything then its just going to be pretty much the same as the game....In which case why pay mone...
I agree that console IP's and there simplicity of use will keep console gaming mainstream for the foreseeable future but also...the internet simply isn't there at the moment and it is my opinion that it will not be there for at least 10+ years at least not to the point where they could even consider replacing consoles and pc storage with pure cloud based services. I was reading the survey and did think its funny that most users have an expensive office edition installed. And theres nothing wrong with a bit of uTorrent. I personally don't use it for downloading games but I need it to get a hold of my tv shows :)

Im Sorry but my stigma around these types of games was broken the same day my girlfriend got me Toy Story 3 on PS3 for my birthday. I had so much fun with that game it is just brilliant and got average 8/10 reviews. If the get the same developers as that they would be sorted!

Ok for starters! Lets see why are you running this one Vista 64 but? You can get like 10%+ performance you would have reached 60fps.
Also a lot of people trying 2 get 60fps would be using SLI

What the hell is the big dead! I think they reviewed both games reasonably fair and history shows they are not biased against the PS3.
Both games got similair scores from them.
Oh and Metacritic gives both games near identical scores in both critic and user reviews. At the end of the day it comes down to personal preference as both games are designed quite well, to maybe a 7 or 8 out of 10 standard and it comes down to which set of flaws will annoy you the most in either ga...
Developers will start snapping necks if we get new consoles anytime soon. Everyone is still trying to get comfortable with the hardware we have. Microsoft have fixed the RR and Sony will fix the piracy and hacking issues soon and then we will be cool for another ages :)
