Maybe this might be one of the reasons sony have not relaunched psn yet. They may be installing more servers etc to cope with the sudden surge when it comes back online.
I'm sure i read somewhere that you will get 30 days free psn+ plus and if you are already a subscriber you will also get the total amount of days psn is down back aswell.
