The spec is way too high, 8gb internal flash?? That alone doesnt sound like it will cost under $170 on top of the better screen and faster loading times as well.
If Sony can pull it off then kudos to them, I think lots of people will want to trade in their old PSP's for a latest one if the price in well UK is good enough.

Guys you forget I have both and although the 360 is in its own right in the sweet spot for games, online and content the PS3 is at present boasting hardware i.e. blu-ray, built in stuff etc and software like Home etc.
Both have pros and cons like at the moment 360 with the red lights, and well PS3 with hardly any online content or games.
But Microsoft if you have forgotten by August will start shipping Xbox 360's with the NEW 65nm CPU! So you can kiss those red r...
Many may already know my utter negativeness towards this game *sigh* and in most cases in past I have said do not go by demos so due to the fact that well hardly any games are coming out and this Forza 2 seems to be getting great reviews from everywhere and nearly all are telling me the visuals are great AND from what you can do in the game career wise I emm well went out and got the game *embarrassed*

That other game companies will start following the same direction, why would they? The user base on the 360 is still higher than the Wii and PS3 not to mention the fact that developers always like a challenge on either making technically advanced games or in this case trying out something new on the Wii.
Many gamers have a Wii a 360 or PS3 or all 3, a lot of casual gamers might have a Wii also and then you have your non gamers that have found the Wii of great interest as its so...
That thinks this game looks terrible? And its clearly a SplinterCell rip off? Look at the link even they dont have good things to say about this game...
Why make games for a platform that costs double that of the 360 and then have a very small user base compared to the 360?
I doubt these game developers want to put themselves out of business, this generation most 3rd party games will be cross platform games and 1st party games or second party IP's that have been bought will be exclusives.
All in all its about making games, would you like to see say FF games in the future on just the PS3 with a huge price hike or ...

Its soo good owning a 360 knowing you get all these great demos and trailers and gamerpics and themes awesome stuff!
It did far better than Sony on launch day - Sony just delayed it enough to out do Microsoft on the number of units available on day one, and even then Sony messed things up.
In fact I have to say Sony's launch was probably the worst launch ever in the USA, in UK it was getting soo desperate they had to give away a Sony Bravia HDTV to the first 100 I think it was in line in one of the major retailers LOL.

If those arent already bargains of the century then I cant wait to see what Microsoft has in store before X-mas cos those are pretty damn good deals imo.
Because the 360 is a DEDICATED games console AND it has a FAR more SUPERIOR GPU the PS3 GPU is trailing behind very badly and the devs still dont have the time or money to render all the visuals via software to make up for the lacking features in the PS3 GPU.
ALL 360 games will ALWAYS look better thats a fact of life deal with it.
Over 10million Xbox 360's have been sold to the consumer, around 6million gamers on Xbox Live.
Sony are making major losses and are also firing their workers to make up for their losses.
It is a known fact it costs a lot of money to make games for the Xbox 360 and PS3 however it costs 2x more to make a game on the PS3 from what I have read.
Now to make this game profitable surely Konami are going to need to sell a few million copies? Say at least 5...

Apart from far better visuals on the 360 I have played and got all the achievemants for this months ago.
@5 the textures are very poor on the PS3 version and so is the lighting, the draw distance is a bit better but look at the ground its murky on the PS3 and not as clear.
Look at the king in the beginning of the game compare the 360 version to the PS3 version - he clearly looks scary and terrible!!! He looks more natural and realistic on the 360 version.

PGR3 looks way better graphically, look at the environments and the road in PGR3 and then Forza 2, look at the cars as well.
Forza 2 looks pathetic.

Wasnt it at XO6 they were showing showing that Sonic 1 would come to XBLA? So instead we get number...Not a problem but I would have liked 3 more lol.
Have to say awesome use of physics and firepower lol.
However wasnt too keen on paying 800 points to 'enhance' that experience...
Anyways I traded the game in today - I think many will start doing the same since the Halo 3 beta is ending on Sunday.
