Just Cause 3 - huge map, boring gameplay and huge open spaces with nothing in them.
Don't get me wrong, blowing stuff up is incredibly fun but after a while, it gets tedious.
Bigger isn't always better in game maps, I'd say GTA5 was about perfect
Console looked great, in an ideal world I'd own every console going but I'm happy with my PS4 Pro.
Be interested to see what developers can push out of this console, the trailers at E3 really didn't do it justice in a lot of cases (I mean, minecraft? c'mon now...) except probably Forza & Crackdown.
Luckily I just upgraded my PC so don't miss out on the Xbox exclusives :D
For me it's Horizon.
I've been playing BOTW, and I won't deny it's a great game, but I've found it a lot harder to get into then Horizon, and for me the map borders on the too big line (ala Just Cause 3) - even with horses, you could be running for minutes without bumping into anything or anyone.
With Horizon, I was sucked into the story, and actually wanted to read the notes and listen to the audiofiles, no game since ME2 has got me to do that....
I like the 'finally' part... like it's been such a long wait..
'Universe that will last for years to come'.... that sounds kinda MMO'y to me... I just want a sandbox to blow up as Iron Man
I was enjoying Dead Rising 4... until Case 2 has glitched and Hammond gets stuck running into a wall... can't be bothered restarting the case yet. I don't think I'm the only one with this glitch...
Would much rather they avoid giving us a release date for now and only throw it out there once its got a release date it can actually meet
@darthv72 - Forza Horizon 3 looks insanely good on a 4K HDR tv :) I just aim to hoard all the games with a PS4 (most likely upgrade to pro soon once the wife doesn't notice) and the Xbox One S :P
I wouldn't say 5/10... more 7/10... playing it on PC which is quite amusing at times... the main one for me is I'm using a ultra wide monitor - the game will run it, but the initial menu is an absolute mess and most comically: the taking damage blood around the edges, only does the centre of the screen (the 1920 aspect) so I get undamaged edges haha...
I'm quite enjoying, bit repetitive but I loved AC1 even though it was like that, guess I like boring repetitive...
...Yep that looks pretty cool :) Got it on my steam wishlist for when it becomes available.
whilst I do love AC games, this doesn't look enhanced to me otherwise I'd be all up for another play-through them
I'd be tempted but if I'm right, wasn't it pushed back because WB had serious concerns about the quality of these remasters?
NMS is far from perfect but I've enjoyed it more than the many times I've dipped back into Destiny.
Neither game is great I'll admit
I'd have to agree with the general consensus of 5 hours...
Why would you persist with a game for 50 hours if you didn't like it?
I prefer digital, more because it appeals to my lazy side but also I used to trade games in then want them again later down the line so I may lose ability to trade in but never buy twice.
UK digital prices on PSN are a joke though, I tend to use the US PSN loop hole.... £60 or $60 (roughly £38) hmmmm.
This would of been avoided if they'd fix the trackers... it's all people are asking... Pokevision found a niche because the tracker wasn't working - fix the tracker and interest in pokevision would of faded..
There's a website coming where you can review a sites links (reviews, walkthroughs, news etc).. so if they are consistently shit, they'll fall off the sites rankings and only the reliable ones will remain.
I'm intrigued to see how IGN fares on it considering how much hate it always gets haha
Authors only wrote this to get hits.
High chance he's actually enjoying himself or overselling any minor negatives.
I know there's no story in this game and I don't really care - I wanna go exploring.
how about actually fixing the bugs instead of adding new things? been weeks since your tracker broke.
I played it, enjoyed it, but wasn't in the greatest games bracket for me.
It's extremely refined, I will give it that, but for me, the map was too big and empty, and it didn't offer anything new.
900+ seeds to collect is more a chore than an 'exciting secret to find'
I get why people love it, and evidently so passionate about it, but I just don't think it was as good as it's made out to be.
