Yes they do have an option, it's an add on, not a console mover, plus as long as the Blu-ray board of trustees which include two of the big hitters, Sony who is direct competition in the console war and Apple another story all in its self, as long as there is money to be made on new hardware, they will not be so willing to part with it. 76 Metacritic score is alright, but it seems GameSpot wasn't doing this because they smelt money, seems like a pretty legitimate reason they found to be a harsh critic, and just changed the review due to load times, most people report this game as being okay, and I'd have to agree, I love RPG's, but this feels way too general, but it is a nice edition to where the Xbox is already so hungry for the lack of RPG's.
Sony works with the developers in trying to lower the megabyte count, if it's just too unreasonable to do so, Sony will release there demos in full, they've stated this before, Sony is always developer friendly.

As I've been saying, while licensing would be the first hurdle, the board of directors, two of which have dominance over Blu-ray wouldn't let this happen, not while Microsoft is a threat, Microsoft probably thought purchasing a licence and adding a Blu-ray add on, and why wouldn't they it is a money maker, but they would be shot down pretty quick, and wouldn't want that bad PR campaign.
