Its good that Ian clarified this. I was one of many who got excited, but IMO its better to have a realistic idea than having unreachable expectations.

I think Ian is not suggesting the X1 will see 30% - 40% gains on every game, he is just talking about how it will affect their game.

Halo is definitely better than Killzone IMO, but I don't know about the other two. UC is a pretty impressive franchise and GT and Forza well, that could go either way.
As games become more demanding the console obviously will have more trouble hitting 1080p. I never said the console didn't have 1080p games nor that it can't. But as you can see lately almost every GPU/CPU demanding game on XBO is capped at 900p or "dynamic 900p". Now lets talk about ignorance...
Doubt it. Anyway if its 900p it will be fine. Real world difference between 1080p and 900p is really small. 1080p look slightly sharper.
Yeah is a debugging tool I think, it will help the developers to work around bottlenecks on eSRAM

Come on, lets be real. Its not a huge jump but it definitively looks better, animation and movement looks better also.
They should make the X1 version 900p and cap it at 30fps, problem solved.
Who cares about tittle screen and cutscenes at 1080p if the rest of the game is just 900p.

Yeah developer definitively went for parity on this game, they all look almost identical.

I don't think will see Gears 4 footage at least not in-game, game is probably set for Holiday 2016.
