idk about gears2 on ps3 but the rumors about the next one crossing over have been around since like forever
this is great and all, but they should have planned on a multiplayer mode. i mean if they really wanted to up the ante from the first one they could have done all of this and tacked on a MP, but dont get me wrong im still getting this game but with a little remorse for what may have been

spike and the VGA will give GOTY to FO3 i guarantee it because they gave it to oblivion way back when, and that is a game that deserves it. this nerdy tv station sucks and they only ever talk about old crappy games, rather than interviewing real people in the industry today, and when you watch they are so biased. its not the job of reporters to give their opinions, but you see them do it all the time.
anyone who says that fable2 is better than fallout3 has not played them both for more than twenty seconds, especially if you are saying to other people that they need to play fable2, to see how it is goty.
for me i cant decide between FO3 and MGS4. they are both my GOTY, oh and BTW 2008>2007

i'm sorry but FO3 is the best game this year and anyone who thinks otherwise hasnt played it. I've have LBP, R2, MGS4, and GeoW2 and none of them compare to this game. it is just so cool

GoW2 was announced at the beginning of this year so we will see, but next year is looking pretty lackluster with KZ2 coming out so soon into the year, and nothing that sounds good to me on the xbox yet im just not very enthusiastic about 2009. and no, there is nothing that pops out on that list to me other than alan wake, which is so old i dont even care anymore.
