i've actually seen quite a few mgs4 ads at different times in the day, some were just mgs4 and the new one that has gt5, LBP, and mgs4

*semi-spooiler* i would say the uncharted character models are close, but do not compare with mgs4. and i thought the chase scenes in uncharted were unbeatable, until i played mgs4, i was stunned fer reaalz

i agree 100% i dont know why i didn't want burnout, gta4, or dmc4. i used to love them, but i felt having them on other consoles took away the appeal. does that make me a fanboy?
maybe it's because i feel like the developer cares more about money than making a good experience, i do want to buy bioshock because they've had their time with it. idk i'm done now
i really do prefer exclusives, i didn't buy gta4, but i did buy uncharted, blah, blah. and i'm definitely buying MGS4, i dont know why i just like them more, they put more effort it seems in most 1st party games
MGS has always had a very specific audience, not a small one, but it's really more for the fans(who are anyone that plays all the way through any one of them, instantly hooked, imo). it will definitely have a significant effect on console sales but will prolly never reach HALO numbers. and i don't like HALO, just being perspective, but MGS is just as important to the ps3 as HALO was to the 360
