I bought my PSP and Wii from craigslist. Not to mention most people I know have bought something off of craigslist.

Some people love everything Japanese.
Well, they get publicity and a sales for push releasing a title that solves most of the original 360's problems.
And they get more publicity and a push for releasing something different- Kinect.
Even if Kinect fails this is providing microsoft with a boost they needed and wouldn't have had if Kinect didn't exist.
I own the Wii and would much rather have it as a HD console without motion controls.
It's a good deal if you need a second controller.
