I understand that you love GT5, but to totally deny 2 other great games and claim that they are not in the same category is silly, Forza 2, and Race Pro, are definitely race simulations & are both great games, I still play Forza 2 to this day...Hell, I've played every GT game, even bought a ps2 specifically for GT3 and will probably get a ps3 specifically for GT5, but lets not act blind and igno...
Forza 3 will end up looking much better than forza 2 after all this is the one thing that they were criticized for. (I think forza 2 looks good BTW). I also believe it will give GT5 a run for its money. Development time means nothing to me, I believe the 360 can get great quality in half the time as a comparable PS3 game, that is one of the strength of the 360...
Don't fool yourself, it is a good game, and you'd be crazy not to want it on the ps3. or is it "since its not on the ps3 it sucks"??

My main reason for wanting a PS3 was for the Bluray player, (I don't have enough time to play all of the great 360 games, let alone another systems) & if this is the case, it looks like the ps3 will be pushed for another year or so in my household...

You must be a super gamer, because it took me much longer to beat. And sometimes short doesn't mean bad. For a action game 12-15 hours is perfect for me.

All jokes aside, why do we do this?? If you like gears, then get it, if not, don't. Like it or not, this game is going to be great...and I for one will be playing it day 1.
What I don't understand, why is the PS3 even discussed here? The article didn't say anything negitive towards the PS3, did it sound like an article that is a few years old? Yes, but we're not talking down/bad about the PS3, so why are you here???
You are wrong, there in fact was a shortage, problem is there wasn't alot of 360's there to begin with. The shortage wasn't driven by sales, it was driven by not having enough supply to begin with.
Look, the GT series has always been good, and will continue to be good, but lets be real, the games are not very realistic--to say that they are "simulators" is really pushing it. GT5 will look good and probably be fun and sell good, but the best simulator??? Let's be real, if this game wasn't a 360 exclusive, it wouldn't be getting the hate it has from fanboys. GT5 needs to concentrate on being a better simulator than Forza 2 before challenging Simbin's game...
It's Cus D'Amato. Tyson has had a lot of problems in his life, and I honestly feel sorry for him---all of that potential...But I won't sit here and call him the names in which you did. Anyways, this game looks so good, Day 1 purchase for me...
