I haven't kept up with the news and info on this game so I don't know.
If it is a vs. online multiplayer then I'm definitely getting this game.

It started out funny then it just got annoyingly stupid.

They're working on 200GB now and so far it's been successful according to TDK.
The 'make it as cheap as DVD' part happens over time as the technology gets older and parts and labor gets cheaper.
DVD's weren't as cheap as they are today when it was 'the new next best thing'.
Blu-Ray marketing has been crazy in those electronic and entertainment stores I've been to.
I can definitely see it replacing the format within the next 5yrs especially since the adoption rate is this high.
I actually think gaming is pretty affordable.
I don't find it hard to put out $60 for a game or two a month, but I can only speak for myself and a few hardcore gamers.

I can't believe how big their heads have gotten since the 5000 NPD sales difference in March.
Through all the NPD charts in Jan and Feb Sony simply stated their pleased with the current momentum and look forward to continued success, while Microsoft is acting like it was a 50,000 difference and making a bunch of asinine comments.

Also, RROD is FAR from obsolete in the new 360's. They've simply claimed to have reduced the fail rate from "33%" to "16%", which is still very much unsatisfactory, but I guess your blind faith and/or denial will make you believe it's non existent.
There should have never been a call back on power cords to begin with.
Proper testing would have given MS the heads up on all these issues prior to launch.
There is no excuse for rushing an extremely faulty console to market.
Consumers purchases of these products should be at least 90-95% worry free.
