If a game doesn't function as intended, it should be mentioned in the review.
It's hard to counter those points, without sounding defensive, so here, have your agree lol
Until they do another 'limited time only' run immediately afterwards, like they've done in the past...
Lmao, wow, Ratchet and Clank is always a big deal!
R&C games play beautifully, look gorgeous and usually have good depth and tonnes of replayability. Add to that 60fps, 4k and raytracing modes, the lol moments in the script, with great voice overs, the new SSD enabled elements, the 3D audio (already being lauded when surrounded by enemies), the haptic feedback and the resistive triggers being utlised for primary and secondary fire modes (freeing up more buttons) and you...
Are you sure you didn't add it to your library when it was free on PS Plus? Just checking in case you forgot!
Me too mate, 100%!
I just thought I'd try sarcasm without flagging it "/s". That went well lol
That's actually a great idea!
Dark mode or we riot!
Why? It's WAAAY too soon!!
Who's with me?? 😬
Agreed - settings ftw, give us options!
Well given the battery life is 50% longer than DS4, it wouldn't really matter to me. LEDs aren't power hungry either, so I'd expect it would be a negligible drain compared to other aspects of the DualSense.
That said, I'm sure they could be controllable in the settings like the light bar on DS4 was, so you can have fancy lights, or about 5% longer battery life lol
^ A few things Shaggy2304; first of all, a minority didn't like it. Secondly the light bar was only an issue for those few because the "bright light bar" was on the back of the controller and they were noticing the reflection in their TV. Not the case in this design, so non-issue, you'll be pleased to hear. Lastly, Sony added the option to dim it right down in the settings, appeasing those few.
"People" isn't a single entity representing one ...
lmao @ "move along now"!
It didn't HAVE to be remade, but it SHOULD have, imo. The game looks awful and doesn't play well by todays standards either - the camera sucks and causes unfair deaths. These looks and this frustration won't be tolerated by new players and so it should be brought up to modern standards, WHILE at the same time providing the option to flick into original mode whenever one wishes. Games have done this many times before, for many y...
^ @Neonridr, when you was a kid there was no option for better. Also, what you were seeing was the best they could do, so was impressive (in Mario 64's case, VERY impressive) at the time, because Nintendo had pride in the quality of their products. They cared about their customers, not just quick cash.
It's so sad to see this flagrant abuse of a treasured franchise.
@King_Noctis & @Neonridr, are you guys both just ignoring that this article is about how Mario 64 looks, not other Mario games?
That's why I commented in relation to Mario 64..
FML just take the shame
Lol at the disagrees - sorry Sony has games people are excited for..
I'd love to see some of their classic IPs get the PS5 reboot treatment. SOCOM and Motorstorm for starters!
I totally agree, the article doesn't help in the slightest, but I really think Nintendo could have done better with Mario 64.
This was a landmark game that went down in history for it's impact on gaming (especially platformers) and it should be experienced by gamers that were not about at the time. They won't give it the attention it deserves, looking like that, which is their loss, but Nintendo's fault, imo.
It wasn't free on consoles. The Witcher 3 will be.
And Todd STILL hasn't returned to the chat...
Try sitting on your hands to make them numb before picking up your DualSense 😜
