Full focus on story and gameplay, no tacked-on multiplayer wasting development time that could go elsewhere. Mikami revolutionized years ago with Resident Evil, let's hope he can do the same within the increasingly stagnant FPS genre.
The in-game visuals looked BETTER in EVERY CONCEIVABLE WAY than the 2005 E3 trailer. Guess the 360 fanboy cynics are never gonna give it up.
But FPS's didn't really come into full fruition before last generation anyways.
Killzone 2 is my favorite FPS of this gen, closely followed by Resistance 2 and COD4. Hopefully Killzone 3 will take everything about Killzone 2 and inject it with crack.
As we've learned over the years, no matter the chronological order, the next game is not always the next numerically. RE Code Veronica, for example, was not RE4. Neither MG Rising (spin-off) nor MGS: Peace Walker (piece of history filled in) are MGS5. Fallout: New Vegas is not Fallout 4.
So Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is an extension of ACII, which is not bad since Ezio is such a great character he warrants a second game. It's still canon though, as Desmond is c...

I started typing a reply and realized it wasn't worth the effort.
The game was meant to be the perfect middle-grounds between game and movie. I'd rather have a sequel based on the decisions you made in the first game than a movie.
My PS3 version looks better than the screenshots show.
"In Russia, Pre orders of Alan Wake have a flashlights and notebooks"
"Pre orders of Alan Wake have a flashlights and notebooks"
'have a flashlights and notebooks"
"a flashlights"
And it only gets worse. That was my laugh of the day. Gotta love google translate.
Saying video games aren't are is exactly the same as saying every human is the same. There is no argument, there is only fact, and on the side there are the stubborn, close-minded idiots of old like Ebert here.
The beauty of art is that it can be anything. Music, video games, film, visual art, food, nature, even the human body - everything is art. Art is emotion. Art is something that gives you an experience. Basically, art gives.
Ebert's moronic statements are givin...

Grow up, assholes.
Zone Of The Enders 3, featuring a gay male lead. There are no inherently gay male leads in any games, really (Dragon Age and Mass Effect give you the choice, but that's not nearly as taboo as a character with a preselected sexuality), and Raiden's seemingly metrosexual design in a game led by strong masculine characters until that point (Big Boss and Snake in MG and MGS) was pretty taboo and controversial at the time. A gay male lead seems like the next step, and a boundary that Kojima alone ...
They're cutting all the gemstone crap and going back to basics, Black and White, classic contrast for a two-version game. Looking forward to the sunday reveal.
Obvious choice for the third version.
Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, and God Of War III all say hi.
Each is exclusive and each is the best on the market in its respective genre. I hope Kojima gives him a good whippin' (pun intended) for saying that.
In the vein of Borderlands, with the online multiplayer's leveling and ranking added to the campaign, at 60fps with COD's smooth controls.
Too bad neither Treyarch nor Infinity Ward are brave enough to take such a risk. I hope Sledgehammer Games are.
The rest I can agree with for the most part though.
... There are none. The visuals are absolutely flawless.
So I don't need to see your absurd comments anymore. Seriously kid, go do something meaningful. =)
This game is sounding better and better with each new wave of info. Can't wait to see the footage tonight.
