I actually love all those games - in fact, I could possibly pick Infinite over SR IV, but I stand by my article
Well, at least you articulated why...
I was about to tell you to quit being an insufferable know-it-all but I honestly did not know that so instead I shall say thank you for informing me of something new.
"Hey, Niko, you wanna go look at some beeg Americahn titties?!"
Why, yes. Yes I do.
I added "stupid" facetiously. I'm like you all, I genuinely would like to see those ideas added as well.
Thank you for the compliments, by the way. I'm glad you liked the article.
Gah! I just finished an article that included how much I wanted to see animals in a GTA game, only to come across this great article. I added an update and linked to your article as a way to say thank you for inadvertently bringing this to my attention. :)
To be polite, I won't post the link to mine here, but it's pending ATM so if so inclined, you should be able to find it. Thanks again!
It may seem like the safe answer but, while I think RDR is a superior game in many ways, for AAA titles, I have to go with GTA IV. Yes, by the time it came out, Saints Row was already around and the whole sandbox thing seemed done to death. GTA IV not only added a new level of detail never seen since, but was also one of the first games to add DLC content that was MASSIVE - The Lost & Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony, like them or not, felt like sequels set in the same universe (they essenti...
Just in time for a grim and gritty Batman Begins-style reboot of The Flinstones!
Damn it.... you're totally right. :)
That's why I loved Red Dead Redemption so much. The open-world sandbox game works for just about any time period because no matter what anyone else says, it's not about violence and sex but about exploring a world that makes the GTA games (and game like it) awesome.
I was thinking of adding that. It would be nice to see a game about ancient Japan that was't like Dynasty Warriors.
I can't argue with this list, other than I HATED Crazy Taxi. Not that it was a bad game, it wasn't. I was just so TERRIBLE at it, I couldn't stand it. Sometimes you hate a game because it's bad and sometimes you hate it because you suck at it. Good list, though.
A valid point and a valid opinion. Personally, I thought they were terrible and I wrote the article, so there you have it. I'm obviously not the absolute authority on game franchise quality, however.
Good game. It was on the Sega Genesis, however.
Thank you for approving this article, you guys, and the suggestions for other games in the comments are great as well.
All of those would make for a good second follow up article
The point of the article was Genesis exclusive titles. Altered Beast and Vectorman definitely fit that but the rest.... Gauntlet? Nah.
Oh, man, I loved BOTH of those game series. Road Rash 3D had one of the best soundtracks EVER.
Are there any other games coming to WiiU that feature ABRAHAM LINCOLN?
