If I am understanding this correctly, Sony will only let the reviewers, review the console, games in a staged pre setup environment? Of course Sony wants the most favorable environment but then the concern would be that it doesn't perform the same under different conditions. This is the whole argument, correct?
I would love a different combat style,i.e. dual swords, two handed weapon that could be really cool dlc in my opinion.

I would love this. Imagine if you could control your army with Kinect. By which I mean pinching, dragging, and other slight movements with hand. Basically mimicking mouse movements. No waving arms around. I'm not sure if the Kinect has high enough fidelity but if it did that Could be a great use of Kinect and solve the problem of playing rts without keyboar and mouse.

I understand that to some people multimedia service is very important. I myself enjoy tv and movies greatly.
So what Microsoft should have done was make three different skus.
First one all out games machine great gpu more than enough memory etc for 399.
Second one multimedia box with Kinect 200.
Third would include all together for 599.

I'm seriously shocked that they couldn't even hit 900p. I didn't believe all the rumors, I had most of my games preordered for xbox, but that it's going to change. I may cancel my Xbox one pre-order all together until Titanfall. Well I'm sure ac4 isn't 1080 either on Xbox. I can't believe Xbox would put out such a weak console. Shocked and disgusted with them.
If this is true than I seriously am not very excited about my Xbox pre-order anymore. I have both consoles pre ordered and was way more excited about my Xbox then my PlayStation. I currently have way more games preordered for my Xbox as well. I mean graphics aren't everything to me at all, so I didn't care if PlayStation was a little more powerful, but this is too much of a difference. I will be able to tell the difference between 1080 and 720 as I game on a 60 inch t.v.

That's what I have been hoping for with each assassin's creed since they introduced multiplayer. Drop in drop out co op could really make it an amazing experience.
It's still full price for me, either the deal ran out or was an error.
My feeling is that while I do agree that resolution isn't everything, the problem is it is not design choices but hardware restraints.
Example: I have no problem with Ryse running at 900p, and I know this is my opinion but, I believe it is the best looking launch game.
Call of duty running at 1080p on PS and 720 on the one. That was NOT a design choice by any means. That is because the Xbox isn't on par.
Maybe this will change in the future,I for one am hoping ...
