Developer dedication and passion. I.e., after watching that video with the starhawk developer I have no qualms buying it day one.
As your comment clearly shows.
you'd let them, but that doesn't mean they'd want to. I think the maturity they're referring to is the appreciation of these games over the typical fragfest games that are in abundance lately.
Exactly. If I recall the vita has over 20 titles that can be bought in-store, 10 or so psn titles and literally hundreds of psp games available to it. I remember the N64 releasing with 3 games available in the first couple months. And that was an awesome system.
Bastion would be an awesome handheld game, imo. But oxm apparently don't agree with me. :(
@ regent
Wait, what? It's only 6v6? I don't have the beta and I guess I always figured it'd be 12 or 16v. 6v6 would totally be a deal breaker for me.
Hey jay, you dropped something. Let me get that for you.
"e"
There, now you can make a real word. :)
Yeah, funny how hardware sales "don't mean much" when they're almost identical.
I see. Good info.
Don't understand why the 360 has so much screen tear. I thought the single grouped ram made tearing easier to eliminate, according to many other game comparisons. Also Also of note is that there's the runoff area (10% or so of an image is actually above screen, so you don't actually see it, even though it shows up in testing). Bummer that they didn't optimize to eliminate it.
I'd like to see how that 16 core chip factors into the retail price point. If the system has a ridiculous cost to it they may be putting themselves in Sony's shoes. IE- pricing above what a typical parent is willing to spend for their kids entertainment.
Sounds like COD:Future Soldier to me.
I thought one of the vitas features was everything was available via psn. So I would assume this would be no different.
@ sandman
Totally agree with SOCOM 4 having a horrible control scheme. And I really tried to like it. I don't think zipper really understood the "3rd person shooter control scheme". adding ADS was a good idea, just left them with one less button for other options.
Sony confirmed it to be a prequel the other day.

I'm really looking forward to what they come up with for his beginnings.
"But the controller's dual analogs were more ergonomically placed."
I always wonder why people think this. I mean, only one analog was moved, and yet some swear this makes all the difference.
I've never thought it made much of a difference either way.
"I've never seen anybody argue so much..."
I lol'd right there, as your writing sounds like your having a little fit. Have your bottle and take a nap, you'll feel better.
@ Titans
Funny that yours is the only fanboy comment so far.
"Did they ever think of kids getting into games now without huge amounts of disposable income?"
Unfortulately I had to rewrite this as I had a load page error.
But back on topic... This is why we get the label of "entitled a**holes". Your comment makes it sound like it's the companies fault that you can't afford all the games you want, and therefore you HAVE to pirate them. Shame on them for wanting to make a profit for the hard wo...
I'd like the person who negged you to have the balls and say why. As if the shotgun toting zombie doesn't have everyone worried?
