But it's also created franchise buzz. And with half a year between them there's more than enough time to enjoy ORC before 6 comes out. So if the casual person hears about 6 they might be tempted to check out ORC in the meantime.

You fail to realize slant six gets paid regardless of it being a success or not. They were contracted for the job, its a "services rendered" deal for them. So it would make sense for capcom to want it to succeed.

i was wondering when someone was going to mention that Sony has NEVER provided monthly numbers. They have commented on NPD numbers previously when they were published, but that was only because they had to. the only thing going on is Sony not giving a rats ass that some no name blogger is calling them out for not revealing the "real" reason behind them not sharing numbers. something they've done since the PS1 days.
