It's funny because I picked up new order not expecting much and didn't see any pre release gameplay and beat the campaign like 5 times. I waited years for fallout 4 and never even found Shaun before completely ditching the game.
I didn't buy it but looks like an 8 minimum. I played the beta a lil.
How long did it take you?
If the randomized environments are as detailed and varied as minecrafts but less blocky, like underground caves with lava and creatures and stuff than yes it will be good. If not, well then it's just a game about exploring dull flat planets and naming ugly creatures.
EA is really going for the throat in the fight against CoD this year. They got developers talking shit in Twitter and 2 big multiplayer fps games, covering both past and future themes. They probably figure if they just kiss our asses for 1 year and kill CoD for good they have like 10million people looking for a big fps name to latch onto.
The characters in infinite warfare look closer to modern soldiers than ww1 soldiers did. What makes it any more gruesome than ww2? Call of duty world at war had bayonets, as did battlefield 1943 and several other games so I don't get where this is coming from. Go watch the first 2 minutes of Saving private Ryan and tell me this trailer was gruesome.

Calm down dude, no one is complaining about infinite warfares existance, we are upset that we are being forced to buy something we don't want to play for a game we want to play. Ya I could buy modern warfare on steam for 20$, but there's only like 500 people still playing and the punkbuster is out of date so hackers could jump in and ruin your game at any time. Also, the remaster is more than just a 1080p upscale of the original, there are comparisons on YouTube.

I was honostly pretty excited for both, and was hoping perhaps the new infinite warfare would be like call of duty timesplitters, and was planning to buy both. The announcement was so dissapointing and disrespectful that I probably won't buy either.
Every other year I'm with you on that, but this time the greed has gone too far. Not only do refuse to allow backwards compatibility for the old cod games, they take one of those games, cut half the maps out, and force you to spend 80$ to get it.
This game reminds me of Gotham city imposters. I was so addicted to that game I spent a whole summer climbing the leaderboards until I hit number 12, then I gave up because I joined a lobby with the two top players and they where just sitting in some puddle of slime that let them heal each other constantly. They only had less than twice my score on the leaderboard tho.
Ya the grenades felt really out of place, I dont remember grenades ever being in a doom game.
I have a good enough pc to play battlefield 4 at ultra settings, but I still play the Xbox version more because I suck at flying the helicopters with the keyboard. There is no control over your throttle, or how hard you lean the chopper, because the digital keyboard inputs.
I find it racist to be upset about what race you play in a video game. Why should you care what color your character is if you didn't personalize his appearance anyways. I am not a girl, but I could end up one in the game, and there's nothing I could do about it. The color of my characters skin is not going to effect that.
There's a reason the game didn't launch with randomized characters, and I imagine it's because it would be quite difficult and time consuming to code and model every distinct type of physical feature, and make it not look like an assassin's creed unity glitch face. Imagine having to do it for every race, making sure some races always have dark hair, or average a certain height. Ya his complaints where basically that it's too much Doom, even though that's kinda the point, it's called Doom. I can get behind the multiplayer complaints like hack modules and glitchy melee crap, but snap map itself sounds like enough for an 8, and you throw in good campaign and it seems like it should be no less than an 8.5.
