i work at elec. at wal-mart and we sold one all of today and we got about forty in.
All consoles die but my 60gb ps3 is still running as good as the day i got it but my wii broke 2 years after i got it and i think the ps3 and wii have about the same failure rate
I was watching a movie on my 60gb and when i was fixing to turn it off i happened to look at the date (12/31) I tried messing around with it (bad idea i guess) but I haven't touched it since.
There's also a ”walmart edition".
