well if you consider it by giving u a new experience in gaming is next-gen then i guess it is but i own a wii and i dont consider it next-gen at all the graphic is like ps2 but slightly better but the motion control is cool especially for metroid prime 3.

maybe it doesnt matter for lots of people but it matters to me i choose ps3 over 360 because i like their exclusive more than 360. im perfectly happy with my ps3 because in 2008 they're going to have some of my favourite franchise MGS, Final Fantasy, and GT. but when i look at the 360 sometimes im jealous because they're going to have halo, gears of war, and mass effect franchise. its different for every person.
