Maybe you got me there (on the upgrades). I have nothing against PC gaming, it's just that my computer is pretty terrible at it, so I wouldn't really know.
As for console repairs, my Xbox 360 has only killed itself once (thank God) and my PS3 has never. I got my 360 in 2005 and my PS3 in 2006. Not much repairs needed on my end. Although, I'd understand if your Xbox 360 kills itself eight-hundred times. Trust me. I've seen it.
Under PS3, motion control is not $100. It's $80 (for both Move and Sub-Controller). Also under PS3, online service cost is not $250. Considering this is a comparison to PC gamers, who play games online with others, there should be nothing here as PS3 gamers can play games online for free. This article implies that PlayStation Plus is required, which it's not. PS3's total in this case should come out to $4080.
