It can shape it up,not entirely fix it,I'm thinking of the Dark Souls mod "DSfix" on PC while it made the game playable,it had it's hiccups too.
Maybe not the best example,but I'm sure that mods have their limitations.
Yeah let's put another article about Skyrim mods or GTA4 mods,it certainly hasn't been submitted or talked about for like bazillion times before,huh?
Mods are just icing on a cake,if the cake is bad,icing won't turn it into an ice-cream fudge with chocolate fountain,sure it would be edible,but it won't be as tasty.(btw,this isn't about Skyrim,I'm just talking in general)

Well said,that's exactly how things should be,saying that graphics don't matter is a lousy answer and typical to hear from people who don't know what they are talking about.
That being said,graphics shouldn't be the SOLE REASON why you buy your games,because at the end of the day they are "GAMES!" and you need a good gameplay mechanics to keep you hooked to them,watching a beautiful looking game isn't the same as playing it when it has crappy gam...
I would say this & Dead Rising 3(if it won't come to PS4) are my reasons right now to get an Xbox One.
Which aren't enough reasons yet,let's see more great games like these and I'll seriously have to buy one.

Battlefield 3 being played at 120fps,it's mind blowing how smooth the gameplay is!

I really wish good things from this game,the atmosphere of Thief games is always something to look forward too.
Well,it doesn't mean anything really,we all know if the game came to PC as well it could push the same graphics or even better(if the game allows modifications).
Still,it's great that with Next gen consoles the lines between PC graphics & consoles graphics are fading(until PC comes back supreme in 2-3 years or so).
Specs didn't matter much before because games didn't push as many polygons.
Anyone saying that specs don't matter and only the game matters is just trying to validate his/her purchases.
As we move forward,better specs means :
1-better looking games
2-more content can be added(characters,textures,land scapes..etc)
3-making open worlds is easier
