Gears of War 3 is going to be a great game (and not talking multiplayer online) - single player campaign is good enough for me,not to mention the gameplay is awesome.

I totally agree,if I had a high edge PC to play my games in max out settings,I would NEVER and I repeat NEVER buy a multiplatform game on any console.
Which really sucks for me,because I really want to taste the PC best graphics cards juice :(

all games that are multiplayer fest should have a split screen online feature...I am really sad devs are not inputing this into their games yet...so so sad :( !

it's was actually at early 2001 that they started working on the move tech,their was an article talking about that with a video showing dr.marks showcasing it to some people,the video was from early 2001 :)
