LBP, MGS4, Resistance, Warhawk etc. all have more originality than Halo 3. Halo is a fanboy thing, it's actually not that good. Or that hard to get through on legendary. It's a weak game that sold incredibly well through some outstanding marketing on Microsoft's part.
HALO IS THE MOST OVER-HYPED GAME OF ALL TIME! Our children will know the difference between a good game and a hyped one.
But Metacritic is still a great service. I ignore the User Score but love getting a breakdown of the reviews. I'd love to judge games by trailers but I'm always let down (cough LOTR: Conquest cough)

I hated Halo. It was the most overhyped game I ever played. But Halo Wars looks like a very decent RTS game for a console. I love RTS games and hate the iffy selection us console-owners are usually lumped with.
Killzone 2 looks immense. I loved the demo (bit short though) and think I'll be playing it regularly as of next week!
The most important thing in gaming is:

PS3 Wins.
It also wins on reliability, on graphics, and on accessability too. Love my console. :)

This stuff is just ridiculous. IT'S A BLOG!!! I'm no fan of the X-box, but this aint really news. These silly "R.I.P 360" and "The PS3 is dying" articles are lame blogs. Not news. This stuff is makin this site so crap I think I might go back to IGN or Gamesradar for ACTUAL gaming news...
Always sniping away at the bullsh*t these Xbots sell us. Street Fighter doesn't look that amazing to me but with the steller reviews it's a must have and the ONLY version I'd ever get is playable on my shiny black box.
Come on. If it's any good I'll get it on PC, but it isn't even on the horizon yet. If MS think they can get thru 09 with only DLC then I have some very dear friends who will be jumping ship.
I hate the idea that a an 'exclusive' even exists on 360 as everything eventually comes to PC, so I totally get Shaka's point.

I have the highest expectations for Killzone 2. Fallout 3 was more limited than Oblivion, but Bioshock had a great feel about it. But Killzone 2 looks epic.
Still not worth buying a 360 to watch HD movies. Might as well rent blu-rays from Blockbuster or watch Sky Box Office. That's what to do if you're serious about HD.
Come on, it's KILLZONE-bloody-2!!! Even bias gaming websites desperate for hits need to be more reflective of the game's strengths. You're right, it is only Edge. But I'm annoyed as the review doesn't make sense so I won't give them any more time!

Ninty sucks. They need to come back with a console or handheld that really grabs gamers. And vastly increase third-party support. I wouldn't even waste spit on the wii.
It speaks volumes that it's the best game on the 360. But no PS3 owners want it. Why would we?
Leisure time is important. Make the most of it.
It's not that great, but it's fun. I'm not really bothered about if it ever came to the PS3 because I've got plenty to play as it is, or could just get it on PC.
It's not a terrible game. It deserves the praise and love it gets from Xbots. But Halo 3 doesn't. I hate Halo. It sucked ass but everyone acted like it was something new and worth praise.
Gears is a worthy flagship of the 360. Halo belongs on the original X-box.

Come on dude, there was never anywhere near as many broken PS2s as there are 360s. Failure rates on PS2 systems were normal. The same can't be said about the 360. 360 failure rates are a JOKE, and will continue to plague these forums and comments section until the problem is fully resolved and it stops happening!

Halo was utter garbage. Hyped-up crap. Huge disappointment. I hope Killzone isn't the PS3's Halo 3 as I'll be gutted!
However, I seriously doubt it could ever match MGS4. It's still my fav game. Just hope they hurry up with trophy support for it!
I loved Fallout 3, one of last year's best games, but I'm not too bothered about the DLC. I felt the game was far more limited than the likes of Oblivion and am looking forward to Bethesda's next title.
I don't think the PS3 needs it. anyways, it has a great series of exclusives coming, so it's good the X-box has something special of it's own.
But what a great game Fallout 3 was! Great fun blowing people's heads off and sh*t!
