How would it, PS3 games can't be pirated, it's a well know fact that 360 gamers prefer their FPS while PS3 owners like a much wider range of games. It would have been a much bigger seller multiplat.

Open world horror was the original idea, and a brilliant one at that, quite unique also, we might never know if they could make it work! Such unique games with a specific audience (especially this gen) should never be exclusives either.
I've got a great idea for Alan Wake 2, re-make Alan Wake 1 how you originally wanted to, open world. Make it multiplat and watch it sell.
A desperate attempt to create a bit of last minute hype for a game that can't sell a million, they might as well say, "please go and buy Alan Wake, pretty please, we might not get the funds from Microsoft for a sequel if you don't". Generally speaking UK homes aren't big enough for Kinect and the fact that you have to remain stood up won't impress Brit's much, I think Kinect has Europe fail written all over it, it'll sell and make money but it will fail to impress.

As a gamer and not just someone who plays games, I can safely say that the iPhone as a gaming platform is a failure. Just look at Paper Toss, it's one of the most downloaded games!
