So everyone please explain to me the philosophy that everyone loves Microsoft? Their marketing schemes suck and they seem to create a lot of drama over who can use their system.
It was asked on Major Nelson's site in the comments if the update will be mandatory...the answer will most likely be "Yes, at some point". Think about what Microsoft did with the games that released after March (i.e. MLB 2K9 onward), the update will become mandatory at some point, so why fight...
Microsoft can track gameplay in 2 different fashions:
1. By playing the game online or while logged in to LIVE
2. By the date that you received a specific achievement
Now Microsoft may not make a big fuss over the achievement dating, it does have potential to create the same response from them.

Yes, this game did require an expansion pak and was included in the package.
Overall, I think Rare was one of the only companies to use expansion pak support (i.e. Perfect Dark and Donkey Kong). I think Mission Impossible did as well, though not a Rare game, but I'm not sure anymore
Everyone using the RC needs to rethink their statements about it being fast. Once their key expires they are gonna loath the boot time.
Vista's stability has been perfectly fine for me. I use my PC for gaming, web surfing, and numerous other things. The only thing I don't do is overclock or mod my equipment.
I'm looking forward to Win 7, but I won't be rushing out to buy it day one.

The Go was made to be more portable so that you didn't have to haul a carry case with you. It's a pain when you have an older PSP. You're always having to bag the PSP and 3-4 games just to keep your mind occupied. I want one, but most of my games aren't available on the PS Store yet. My 3000 model will just have to do for now.

the best buy out here by me has it on display and i will say that the accessory is interesting and looks durable, but the game, I can't say that many people were really liking it.

And as Valve stated this past week...I don't think that the development companies set the values for the games. I think they help in the process, but Sony and Microsoft have the ultimate say in how much we pay for everything on XBLA and PSN.

I've been getting connection errors in Co-op play, but that is all.
I haven't seen any freezing with my PS3 in this game. Last game that I had freezing issues in was Ghostbusters and not since then. I'll believe that this is a widespread issue once Sony comments on it...that's usually what I do in any situation that posted on N4G.
