Rain is looking to steal the show just like Journey did.
I think free online play is a what everyone wants. I'd add bringing the focus back to core gamers, new core IPs, more exclusives and when I say exclusives I mean games that can ONLY be played on Xbox forever not just a few weeks, and a PS+ like service.
Better than nothing.
Well deserved. Journey lives up to and even surpasses the hype.
Just keeps getting better.
Of course they are. Sony will dominate E3 as usual.
Sony is making all the right decisions with the PS4.
The problem with that is that MS and their fanatics have been saying "wait til E3" for the past 4 years now and they disappoint gamers every time. How many E3s do we have to wait for? Who's the secret celebrity to show up this year? One Direction? MS will have to realize gamers want games at E3 and some to be new IPs. We didn't want a circus show with ponchos. We didn't want Kinect. We didn't want Smartglass. We didn't want ESPN3. We didn't want Ushe...
I'll be there to witness it.
What did I do? I ask an honest question. 3.4 million is 1.7 million on two consoles and 1.7 million for an exclusive is considered a success so why is 3.4 million a failure on two consoles?
Why is it so hard for multi plats to make money?
Tomb Raider and Hitman co-op coming up!
99% of multi plat games don't sell and the 1% that do sell don't sell enough to make any money. This is a problem.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. First for Sony you say:
"They still have the same franchises that sell OK but Killzone and Infamous arent really system sellers especially as of late."
But then for MS you say:
"MS could do a Crackdown, or a Perfect Dark a Metro or maybe Alan Wake(its kind of a big deal)."
Killzone and Infamous sold more than ALL of those games. Then you say Alan Wake is "kind of a big deal" w...
The Naughty Godz don't make "stupid mistakes".
Yep. Sony is red hot with core gamers.
Awesome. Can't wait to play this.
God of War 2
This is why Sony will rule the hardcore gamers. They keep games at the forefront and have the guts to show up at GDC.
Thanks for the Amazon tip. I was waiting for a price drop for this game. Didn't feel it was worth $60 but for $40 I'll bite.
On topic: Most multi plats don't sell and the few that do sell they don't sell enough to break even and they don't make a dime. The stakes are not that high for exclusive games. 3.4 million is a huge success for any exclusive but not enough to even break even for multi plats.
Sony will dominate because they keep us core gamers at the forefront.
