The game would not be clased as a full release, its using the minecraft model ie game as a service. The game is prety good and has potential to be great its ashame that there is huge hate for the game and a lot of false info and outright lies cirulating. I played some Dayz over the weekend and remember why I stopped playiong, fun is minimal and the engine and ui are not your friends. Play this game for yourself people and stop listen to this negative sensationalism to get page views.
Wow that was a completely bias and bullshit review. The Game is still in beta and a lot fucking better than this review makes out. I have Warz and and dayz mod and will get the standalone when its out and enjoy both. My advice give warz a month and try it for yourself, it has a lot of very tense gameplay and when fully featured will prove all the unwarranted bad press wrong.

a 7850 will easily run crysis 3 at 1080p and thats around £100 less for a 7750. Crysis 2 was actuall prety tame on the GFX requirements I dont think this will change for C3

Agreed ^^ Go for sata2 SSD with a bigger capacity over a faster half size. OCZ 240GB Sata2 drive on ebuer are only £100 which is a bargain.
Only get newer faster drive if you have an i5 based chipset as old core2s wont give the SSD max performance and best to stick with sata 2 anyway.

Please get some upto date info, the name is a derivitive of war inc and was not a dayz cash in tho a diferent name should have been chosen. The advanced stage of the alpha showed that it was not badwaggon hop for dayz hype. Warz: you cant buy all items, if you actually had read the forums you would know, you can only buy gold coins for really money which has restrictions to stop pay to win. The rest is in game dollars or zombie stem sells so you have to find or trade for them.

Great game with slick style and visuals (PC) The combat is very satifying. The camera on the vehicles is a little jumpy but ok.
Save your pennys get a gaming PC or start campaigning for the next Xbox to be released sooner. BF3 at 80-100 FPS on a 120hz monitor is so buttery it makes me warm in my special place. Tho my monitor and PC did cost more than and XBOX and HDTV. Poeple complain abut PC gaming being expensive but most people piss money down the drain on the weekend at bars a little sacrificse would give a big eward, choose PC and win.
It was a shame that the focus was on console but I have faith in Doom 4 and with the RAGE DLC and possible mod tools incoming I think we will have the game carmac originally intended. I picked it up for £6 on steam sale and look forward to playing it.

I would love to see the pre and post dayz mod sales numbers. I would guess that most like me just bougth Arma 2 combined Ops for DayZ and it would be nice to have a DayZ standalone discount code atleast as we are filling bohemias pockets right now and ARMA 2 was not exactly flying off the shelves.
PS I hope they can improve performance as I have a 4ghz i5 and OC 6970 and I can hope for 40FPS at best.

Back in the 1942 / vietnam days new maps came with patches for free.
Not sure if you are on a console but I've played plenty of CQ on PC and not seen any cheaters. However I play on properly admin'd, PB streaming servers which I guess are doing thier job.
This would be a great expansion, Rush mode with dino defence. I would totally want to play as a dino too!!
Why is everyone so negative, this is just like prepurchase of the expansion packs which im sure we all would have bought anyway.
I would rather fund the game development and secure the growth of DICE (EA not so much) allowing them to develop better content and future titles. This is not a cheap cash grab like elite.
I paid £40 which works out 10 per pack which is standard and the added features are a bonus. Admittedly if it cost any more I would not bot...
