yeah, socom is great now. they won't make the same mistake with the next game either.
Nah man this is a little bit too harsh saying that ALL gamers should stay away from these games. I liked SOCOM. The graphics weren't too pretty but the gameplay is great.
@ Conloles
so true, haha.
Getting a locked 60fps on this game would be very difficult, I've seen some reviews in which the 5970 ($600) was only getting around 60fps on full settings for this game. If you'd be willing to go down to 35-45 fps, a 5850 or 5870 may do the job.
edit: Radeon HD 5770 would probably perform well.($150) Just search for reviews and they probably have it benchmarked with this game.
Yeah, ATI tends to consume much less power. With the exception of the 5970, which doesn't exactly have an equivalent, pretty much all ATI cards consume less power than the Nvidia counterpart.
I like the ATI's value over Nvidia's. Other than that they're pretty even.
Nope.
I think the only problem could be that the trigger buttons are never actually used to shoot in shooters.
I definitely agree. I don't think the layout could get any better.
Hopefully they polish up the design a bit by the release. The back looks great, no more scratched up metal. But other than that the rest of the phone looks less modern than the current one.
Yes, you will.
I must admit that the title was "ultimate" in order to be more attractive. But it does perform well for the price. I guess it's the ultimate of $800 pc's :p
It's understandable, different games appeal to everyone. I guess for most Doom 3 was either hit or miss. Luckily to me, it was hit.
And I agree with Half Life 2, it was and still is a great game.
I'm guessing you haven't played the new games such as just cause 2 or metro 2033? Maybe you have but in my opinion they blow crysis out of the water in terms of overall experience. Graphics may not have gotten much better since crysis, but why would they? Noone would be able to play it. Crysis was probably about 4 years ahead of everything else out there.
lol people also lie that their system breaks when an update comes out so they can get their previously broken system fixed for free. & @ everyone complaining about reliability, nothing is totally reliable. some more than others, but everything will break down eventually.
Who gives a f**k. As long as they're good games, noone cares.
edit: Crysis on consoles is just for making money. If you actually want good visuals, get it on PC.
You guys need to read the article before you attack it for the title.
Obviously noone understood the reasoning behind the writing of this article.
DirectX is not like a console. New versions of DirectX are released much more often and people often find themselves buying things that become outdated quickly. The point of the article was to state that DirectX 11 should be a more important version, and won't be outdated by DX12 as fast as other variations.
That's euro's. This is dollars. What the hell bro, that's not even close to $500. Power supplies are another $50 too.
Why are they giving us 1080p shots for a game that can't even be played in 1080p? :p
I know, I know...
So you say a game is really hard, then say it takes no skill? Good job, want a cookie?
It's so much easier on your eyes. I wouldn't want to buy the lesser version of any game, so it's gonna be PC for me.
