Hey Mezzo, where have you been?
@higgings78
And then fewer people would be able to play it. 0 had its exclusivity, for a long time. These HD remakes allowed a good chunk of people to enjoy something really fun, there is no downside.
They cant see the difference until its an article comparing PS4 to X1 or vice versa. Then it matters, nailed it. But when an article about the PC comes up on this site, all these people turn into ostriches with their heads in the ground. Suddenly they dont care, how strange...
'Then you Sony fans must never enjoy your games seeing how must games on PS4 has peformance issues.'
We have different standards, I game on PC, sorry.
You will have a hard time enjoying something when the fps is all over the place. As that literally effects the game play - this is compounded when a game like this essentially revolve around multiplayer.
These systems need to stop trying to be what they arent. This obsession with 1080p is seriously handicapping these games...
To the naysayers telling people not to go solo... You are right. They will probably get bum rushed.
But some will make it, kick ass in fact - movies set in the wasteland, the one who goes it alone and survives, for your own good its best to stay out of their way.
@Fez yeah I'm with you. Basically SoulMikeY's comment amounts to 'I believe in no societal regulation, unless of course for the thing(s) I dont like or approve of. Well okay?
I really dont think people are interested in reason in this thread. I gave cold hard numbers that I didn't pull out of the air showing why cartridges aren't ideal and got thumbed down. Oh well ignorance is bliss I suppose...
Lol yeah I mean there are niche holdouts for all sorts of tech. But even these people accept the novelty of whatever it is they love as being just that.
Yeah it seems those wanting this aren't even considering the tech associated with 'cartridges' in the present. It just sounds cool and therefore they want it. Allusions to faster load times are just that. There is no upside to this as a consumer other than a gimmick of something you can hold. Big deal. Get your third party fix on the NX just pay $10 more than the PS4 or X1 version that'll go over well...
There is a lot of misinformation in this thread. The cost of a blu ray and a comparable SD / flash card is night and day. The conversation should end there. However looking at read speeds, the PS4's Bluray drive speed is 6x, which is 216 Mb/s. This is faster than all but the highest class of SD cards (Ultra High Speed Class 3 just barely beats it) -- and of course these cards are more expensive. There is another caveat though, modern consoles install the data as opposes to the old days of...
Double comment sorry =/
PCXS2 says hello. Even if you dont have a PC that can run the games at 1080p 60FPS (which is not hard to do these days) 720p or a custom rez the games still look great. Combine this with input mapper and your DS4 you are in business. No need to rebuy what you already have, unless of course you want to.
If you dont have a PC that can do this well, PSN it is good or bad. But dont let anyone fool you that emulation is this holy grail where only ultra rigs roam, there is room for...
Don't forget about Sleeping Dogs. Also Shenmue.
I do.
That is the look of someone who forget to turn off the stove.
Poor Bubsy, the Rodney Dangerfield of VG mascots...
I have 3,4, and the Zombie one all on my backlog ughhh so behind!
This is MO for any split with an employer good or bad.
Just seeing earning reminds me of this...
When I was a little kid I tagged along with my parents to one of the apartments they owned, the tenants moved out but left it messy. There was a pile of magazines and in it was a Nintnedo investors report (no idea what that was when I was a kid) anywayz it was one of the coolest things ever. It was like a gaming magazine except it was printed on this glossy paper and in between all these bizarre charts was tons of Nintendo IP art full...
