Sony doesn't have any open world racer and Forza Motorsport has long since surpassed gran Turismo Sport. Look at the meta critic. Widely accepted by the industry for both horizon and Motorsport

Well backwards compatible games on series x list blazingly fast. Take prey 2017 for example. Xbox one x load time was 1 min 13 seconds between levels and now it's 10 seconds. Massive difference. I'm playing through it now.

Forza has outperformed gran Turismo for a while now. Both the horizon series and Motorsport series. Sony doesn't have an answer to horizon and Motorsport reviewed much higher review wise and win out over gran Turismo by a wide margin.

It's surpassed it since Forza Motorsport 4. The driving mechanics, the game is a better simulator over all and had been for years. Sales don't mean quality or licenses and partnerships with racers. Every single media outlet that scored Forza and gran Turismo scored Forza much higher. It's higher critical acclaim. No amount of race car drivers that play gt will ever change that. The meta on average for each game is higher by 10 points than gran Turismo....
