the order cannopt be upscaled to 1080p. Its running 1920x800. That means black bars up and down (widescreen cinema style.) The fact is though, what ever picture you see in the black bars is 1080p or percieved 1080p. The evil within is doing the same thing. Ryse is 900p but on a full screen image. If the order wanted to go full screen it would probably be 900p or ess than 1080p.

Parents getting their kids x1? Get real at 100$ more, parents are buying their kids a ps4 or wii u. The most expensive console never gets adopted by parents- not to mention the paystation brand is stronger than the xbox brand right now so its an easy choice for parents. i apologize if i personally attacked you. I myself own a 55 inch lg led 8600 series (highest end lg led tv) and sit about 10 ft from my tv but i believe even at this distance i will notice 1080p for videogames, although i am very surprised so many people here sit very close to the tv. I also have a 70 inch led sharp downstairs and find it a little hard to play games on it sitting about 7 feet from the tv- eyes hurt lol.

You are being silly. Console gamers do not sit within inches of the screen like computer monitors. So yeah you can notice on a 15 inch monitor because you sit within inches. BUt try and step a few feet back and you will need eagle eyes to notice the difference. What a ridiculous article. Both smart glass and remote play aim at different things, remote play being more about streaming games and smartglass used around actual gameplay. Deadrising uses smartglass for phone calls and artillery strike/map. Or the fable game where one player uses it to set traps.

Actually ps4 is not lead development console. Both x1 and ps4 adopt similar pc like architecture- (ps4 being closer to pc than x1), but pc is going to be the lead platform development for most big companies and will be ported down to x1 and ps4. Ps4 may be easier to port since it is more in common with pc than x1. Devs have to put a bit more work in x1 to get same results.
