For all the "Xbox best year ever", it seems to be a fringe act on most Game of the Year awards. Very little going to it's exclusives.

Good news. I predicted this ages ago and I'm very happy. There's a few Xbox exclusives (Gears,Crackdown, Quantum Break that'll come too eventually) that I'm interested in, and I have a PC that's better than Xbox One already.
I won't ever need that big lump or another subscription for online play.

I'm hoping for the admission that ALL XB1 games will now come to PC (within 12 months would do. Then the Xbox game I like the look of each year, I can just get.

How many of the naysayers have used it? You can often spot the ones that haven't. They say things like "3D failed, so will this", like they are the same. They also point out the graphical reductions, not understanding it's about how it feels to use, or that the headset is quickly forgotten, or that there will be local asymmetric multiplayer with friends.
They also forget how much multiformat can increase chances of success.
