I see what Madman is saying. ARMA isn't a bad game, but for people like myself with limited time and so many games to play, it's hard to put in the time to just one game.
Battlefield is a game where anybody can jump in and grab some kills.
ARMA is a very impressive game tho'...i wish I did have the time, but my backlog in gaming is big enough.
It will be tough. The characters in Uncharted were very likable. Nathan Drake had a lot of personality which is rare in games. The main guy in The Last of Us looks to be another cliche tough guy.
And you also forgot Forza Horizons. I know you hate to hear it, but it's the better rated and better game than GT5. Forza Horizons looks to borrow a lil from another popular franchise from Microsoft in PGR. Any fan of sims/racers should be all over this game.
I find it funny that people say "Microsoft only had Halo, Gears, and Forza." Dude????? Those 3 are arguably the best in their respected genre's. And you think Beyond is better than these 3?
Yup! That's what I was thinking. PGR was thee best arcade racer ever! The Kudos system worked very well. Looks like this game uses something similar. Should be another good one.
Killzone just didn't get as popular as they wanted it too. The franchise was very bland and dull. The villains, characters, and story was cliche. Aren't they offering the multiplayer for free? That says volumes right there.
I thought Resistance was the better franchise.
The market is already saturated with better FPS. These guys should concentrate on something else.
They have enough. If sony can bring random characters from ps2 like pappa rappa, than microsoft can bring conker or blinx the timecat or all those other mascots.
I rather have a Killer Instinct game than a goofy smash brothers clone. Don't know what the appeal is for Smash Brothers. It looks like a game for the younger generation.
They're is a big difference between being hard and being stupid cheap. Only a handful of games can call themselves hard, yet enjoyable. Hopefully this Gears can pull it off.
Kinect which is the better selling motion device versus Move has a Harry Potter game. And I think it sold like ass. Having Harry Potter on your video game case doesn't mean anything.
What? Tomb Raider?
Maybe IGN missed the Watch Dogs demo and the rest of the convention?
The article states BEST GRAPHICS OF E3 so it doesn't matter if it's a PC or a console.
War Dogs and Star Wars. Everything else was not even close. If you seriously believe that another game looked as good or better than these 2, than you are either a fanboy or stupid.
That's never going to happen. If Sony released a simulation game of a toilet, you would get the predictable, "OMG TEH PHYSIKS IS INKREDIBLE!"
Yeah it's a great idea......for me to poop on.
Nope. Sony gave up on it. The sales are more than struggling.
Seriously, the Vita just came out and it gets no love at one of the biggest gaming conventions? Developers eventually aren't going to waste their time on it.
Talking trash when you're in last place doesn't really work well.
Lmao! What???
Dude, you need to relax and get some sunshine. It's not that serious.
I haven't played games on a Nintendo since the Perfect Dark and Turok days.
Why all the hate? Just Dance for Kinect is a fun experience especially with the opposite sex. It's one of the few games that actually a whole family can enjoy. You call that a fail? Just because you hate it and it's a fail? Their are millions of children and mothers who love this game and every single one of them would probably hate Halo or Uncharted.
Kudos to MS for giving everybody what they want.
Can you say....Bad Journalism????
"The Best Halo ever made" from a fanatic pro says a lot! Those guys are always nit picking every lil negative. If this game is praised by these "pro's" than we might be really looking at the best Halo ever.
All these crazy additions like Shield Package and super vision might make the game play uneven, but I'm sure they'll have classic MLG or Hardcore matchingmaking without all the extra's.
