LOOKS LIKE YOU FOLLOW HIM OR AT LEAST ARE INTERESTED IN HIS TWEETS. NOW IT SEEMS THAT YOU MENTION ONLY WHAT YOU LIKE BUT, IF YOU KNOW THAT MUCH THEN YOU KNOW that modern GPU's cannot take full advantage of DX12 and that only Next Gen GPU's can take full advantage of DX12 benefits and features, now if you remember not long ago, this same person "Spencer" tweeted that XBOX was using some features of DX12 but that full implementation of it was bound to happen via update. Not the casual 2 running engines like Halo anniversary 1&2 but bak then when bungie was asked why halo3 was running sub 720p they said the reason was that the halo 3 engine was indeed running two simultaneous engines, one handling graphics and the other was handling just the lighting. So it is running two simultaneous engines but way different that two simultaneous full game engines. Hope you guys understand what I mean.
No he's actually right! Even on the MP stages the XBox has better performance thou not as obvious as SP experience but its still there and slightly less res, that's a fact too.
I think u need to read the review again. The xbox has the best performance even on MP but slight lower res. And for fps the steady frame is a must. Either way is a win for both since they were very much optimized for MP. 👍
Awesome graphics nonetheless, but there is something I notice about the graphics and bear with me people but I notice from the gifs. the car seems like its floating and its because I don't see any dirt when the car drifts and its taking corners I only see dirt when the cars hit the wall. I don't know why but it could be a older build or its because of a sacrifice for the visuals but it takes from the feel, that's all. anyone notice these, I hate when they don't add these littl...
Funny thing is that if you look at both videos the end of the second one here posted and both on the eurogamer site they both show he XO version going higher than 30fps and even almost 32fps. So i wonder about that who has better frames......
well there is more stuff like debris and wind showing on the Xbox one version and both are synchronized perfectly so no one can say that its because there is different timing in the video.
If you really look at the video it shows like there are more effects like debris moving and going in the Xbox One version "and both are synchronized perfectly" so it looks like it has more going on screen than the PS4 version that because its has less stuff flying around it makes it look prettier but they look pretty much the same nonetheless.
WOOOHOOO! very good idea for those that want to just play temporarily the sports games that come every single year and wont cost them that much. I.E no middle men!
It weird about this because, the update that I got this week on my Xbox one added 3D support and anyone can find It in the display settings. Which it was nice that they finally added. So I'm already enjoying it. Eventually everybody will, so have patience people. 😏
Well, the problem is that people or fans dont understand what DX12 really does and its not really a boost like most fans and sony fans say thats just a boost. DX12 Its more like implementation of the way the code is implemented in the hardware. What this means is that the same game can be put with the same code and same performance as the original code but because the implementation is different to the hardware, the game will run faster and more balance with less hiccups or frame drops withou...
@otherzinc
Yes I think you're right! Forza5 is as I know THE ONLY NEXT GENERATION GAME that truly runs at 1080p/60fps. And no game that are ports or were design to run on last gen consoles are not true next gen like MGS ground zero and CoD ghost. So basically I still haven't seen a true next gen. games on PS4 running 1080p/60fps yet!
So you're argument its still pretty valid in my eyes! 😉
@Isujester,
well its not about the software specific features of the Xbox One but mainly about the hardware specifics to be able, to run these features at optimized drivers potential. that's I'm pretty sure is what the DirectX 12 for Xbox one is mainly about. I'm pretty sure that this system was design to be released this year with all bells and whistles but Sony did pushed their hand. Guess we'll know coming this 20th is about.

This video at 25:19 the architech says it 6ops per cores per cycle =48ops per 8cores. I don't like commenting much here because of the stupidity that goes around here. But I guess that's what brings the money with the clicks and most idiots that believe everything they don't understand. Plus 2 cores are to be used for the other OS features and 6...
@mp1289
Wrong! The jaguar cores that the Xbox have are very much customized and are in fact more advance than the PS4 cores. The PS4 can only do 16ops per 8 cores and the Xbox can do 48ops per 8 cores and I'm not making it up it was already mention in the complete interview by digital foundry and the video by major Nelson talking to the Xbox one architects. So NO! Once modified it's considered a different type of processors, so it's not the same.
Huh? Why not? I mean, Assassin's creed wasn't 1080p when it came out on PS4 and was updated to that resolution so in regards to Titanfall's resolution, its very much possible since Xbox one was able to handle Forza5 which it has way more quality textures and achieved 1080p/60fps.,so even thou I don't really care if the resolution is bumped or not to 1080p, I rather them take their time in adding and perfecting the server and do all those 1080p higher textures and so on in thei...
@Septic
The system is more than capable to handle 1080p res. But the main reason is that the Xbox one has a new design architecture that Microsoft did with AMD and it will be very well optimized for new types of engines because it was design with future tech and that's why its design like a supercomputer that has a lot of operations per cycles and only new engines will benefit the Xbox one. All these games that are coming out now or were going to be done for older 360 and...
You must understand what he means and its not about the games, he is talking about the tools to make the Xbox1 more easily to develop and show more effects and ease of acces for it. if you really think about it, Perfect dark looked like a original Xbox game with super glossy effects and no one wouldn't imagine or believed that halo 4 would've looked that awesome back then in the early days when call of duty 2 was very good looking for that time. I Think that's what he means, not t...
Now that were on this subject and all sony fanboys are saying that forza dont count or fifa nor nba 2k being 1080/60 then my question is.
What PS4 game can any of you truly show me that its graphic intensive and (obviously indie games don't count) and COD ghost its not graphic intensive, just development time was the key reason, that run's at 1080p and STEADY 60 fps to prove your point? If any could be kind enough to reply!!! If not then shut up and enjoy your games! Because I...
To make it more accurate. MS is remaking and redesigning a whole game into a remaster, the way I think it should be and giving away by BC all the 360 version and whatever respective dlc you've acquired. Sony is just updating the res and frame rate that they had kept away in the stored PC that was used to create the game and just encode it to work on the PS4 minus the multiplayer maps.
