So the only game you can blow your honkers on is Halo... MGS4 sold more than 4.5 million, GOW3 has sold more than 3 million units, UC2 sold 4 million, KZ2 sold 2.5 million... That is greater Alan wake sales or Splinter Cell sales or Crackdown sales..

If ME2 is left out from the list (which it should have since it's in no way an exclusive since it's on the PC and it's even coming to the PS3), the average comes down to 83 well below PS3s 86... Also, he should have counted Modnation Racers over MAG since it's got a higher meta and could have pulled the PS3 to 87...
But to hell with the numbers.. Both consoles have had a near equal year.

Unless MS blew another 500 million (which I highly doubt cause the investors would kill MS for doing it), I doubt GTA would ever be exclusive.
I can even put money by saying none console will get any exclusive content this time around... A lot of backlash happened last time which benefited none...
You can get the Beta Free if you make an Indian PSN account. There is some sort of glitch where you don't require PSN+ for downloading the game.. That is how i got into it... So try out, it's worth a shot.
EDIT: Just checked... They seem to have removed it.. Hard luck.
Ya pretty awesome for them to do that cause most devs like to seal everything in a beta as soon as they get feedback.
I really have great amount of respect for them. They hear what the community wants and implement it. Those tweaks pretty much patch up most of my complains about the beta.. KZ3 is day 1 for me.
I haven't played Reach yet so can't comment on that, but I have COD:BO and it doesn't even come half as near to being chaotic as KZ3 does...
Just play the Cornith Highway map, so much going on, spaceships flying above your head, mechs going all out at each other and the size of the map is also gigantic.
The graphics are a bit rough and grainer than KZ2 ATM, but it's Alpha so that will be taken care of.

I am in the beta and the only problem I find is there is a little lack of recoil from KZ2 and a few imbalance issues which can be easily sorted till the game launches.
Besides, the beta is actually an ALPHA build so it isn't even near to what the final product will look or play.
The frame rate and graphics are truly remarkable. The game is going to be phenomenal!! Trust me I ain't much of an online player, but KZ is 1 game I play the hell out cause it...
^^^ Exactly nineball... No one cares on the fact that both are selling in good numbers and none flopped. Why does it always have to something from the other camp flopping? There is plenty of space for both.
I still don't get this SOLD vs SHIPPED logic. People mocked Sony that they SHIPPED 1 million and now a month later, 4 million SHIPPED/SOLD, so that definitely means people are buying. But still people like mocking cause they are passing shipped number can't believe...

Who cares.. Does the Kinect number specify Sold to Consumer?? No right and judging by MS's previous sales pattern, it's also 'shipped' as well.
And even if the number are shipped, it doesn't matter since last time Sony also mentioned shipped numbers and guess what they are still shipping them, so someones gotta be buying them right?

Thats the whole point. I ain't being a devils advocate and not blaming the sites, hell the sites which came out with the review just 1 day after they received the copy shouldn't even be counted credible, but Sony should have been more responsible.
I dunno who is to blame since I don't know who was responsible for distributing the game (Poly or Sony), but whoever it was, did a very unprofessional job. How can you expect such a high profile game, such a HUGE game co...
Ya and the knuckle heads at Sony should also deliver the games to the reviewer at least 1-2 week before the release and not 2-3 days before the end of embargo and that too when the embargo ends ON THE DAY OF RELEASE.
I am damn sure it pissed off many reviewers that they were given an RPGesq game to be reviewed in 2 nights and that too to add to the misery, the servers went down or were unreliable and hardly anyone could test the online aspects which created even more bad pre...
While I agree with your points, my main suggestion would be to just change Metacritics as it's the real culprit with this obsessive fanboy fight on a game being inferior cause it's 2 points less than another. Metacritics is a great site to get all the credible reviews in 1 place, but the way people nit-pick about a game being AAA only if it's >89 is really annoying.
I'd rather have reviews with Alphabets.
