I see it the other way mate. It's good that big actors are willing to work in the gaming industry as it helps break down a some boundaries in terms of the way it's perceived.
Too many non-gaming folk still see it as a geeky past-time, and not the credible story-telling platform that it is.
Then again, perhaps most actors would do anything for a fat pay-cheque.

Superb update. The best so far! However, they need to push out the ability to play music without having a music app snapped. Just like you could do on 360. Drives me nuts!
I'd really like to see this myself mate, but I can't see it personally as I think MS will want to promote their own music service.
I just wish they'd allow us to use it without it being snapped.
They can tart this up all they want, but at the end of the day it's still the same tired old engine.
And it has it's limits. There will be nothing like the cool destruction mentioned by an earlier poster. This tired old engine just cannot implement what the players want from it.
Their reluctance to completely do away with it will also ensure that there's hackers within the first week of launch.

The direction COD is taking is driving myself, and others I imagine, away from the franchise.
Look at the DLC for Ghosts.
DLC1 - Michael Myers
DLC2 - The Predator, human seeking aliens from Extinction, alien weaponry
DLC3 - Ghost Pirates. (wth!)
(you could also include things like Wolf skins ruining immersion)
Then Advanced Warfare - Mech suits with grapple abilities.
CoD 4 and W@W were the height of the series...

The game definitely needs a boost in weapon count.
I still miss being able to listen to my music while playing without the experience crippling snap bar stuck at the side of the screen. Still not sorted out in the update. :(
If they stick to the basics like GH1 and 2 did, then it may be worth it. GH2 was their best of the series imho.

Well, in that case you should've invested in a play n'charge kit, or even rechargable AAs.
You know, just like most people will did on the 360, and what most will do on the XB1?
An enclosed battery isn't necessarily a good thing either.
What if the battery unit fails? Or over time, no longer holds a decent charge? At least you won't fork out for a new 360/xb1 pad, merely a few quid/bucks for some new batteries, if wifi is what matters to ...
What an absolute shitshow that was. I've got over 200 bought games on Xbox plus GPass ultimate. That horror show has determined that I'll just hang on to my one x. Half of that garbage looked last gen, never mind next gen. Such a disappointment.
