Uncharted looks amazing. I can not wait to play Uncharted 3 which looks graphical beautiful. It looks better then Uncharted 2. Uncharted a graphical powerhouse of a francise that doesnt necessarily need to be bland grey and brown like games from this gen.

The whole francise just did not stand out, was just a poor mans whole set in wwII. Isomnaic obvious wanted a halo for the ps3 but failed. They were obviously inspired by Halo, they even mentioned it in one of the dev diarys in the games extra menu.

cheat codes and unlockables ( i.e characters , skins ) are now replaced by DLC, Nowadays you buy additional characters or maps.

This looks like a damage control piece from what john said about the ps3, how pathetic. Deal with it multiplatform at times look stunning on Xbox 360. Some people so hurt :'( lol
More funny thing is RAGE is higher metacritic then Resistance 3 and same as KZ3 at 84% so much of a flop in PS3 fanboys vision. Oh that means they are also saying KZ3 and Resistance 3 are a terrible failures too good.

Source engine is dated last i saw it was Portal 2, still has impressive water, lighting and physics but i think dated in terms of todays engine. Bring on Source engine 2 with Half Life 3 play Portal 2 and see how old is looking that engine.

Halo needs to happen with good director Halo can be the new stars wars of this generation. We all saw the live action adverts and how amazing they were.
Sony will love to have gears blockbuster francise on their consoles , but wont happen sorry , like uncharted wont go on xbox 360 or Halo on PS3. Cliffy is one funny developer.
the game was pretty average in my opinion run in the mill shooter. Even thought i platnuimed it, it just did not stand out from all the shooters out there.
I advise you to save your money from other stellar games coming out. Uncharted 3 , Skyrim , Zelda SS , Batman AC and more...
If you can pick it up from the bargin bin for dirt cheap then buy.
But if your wondering the campaign is bland and generic. The multiplayer is also not worth your time.
