Am I the only one who thinks that all the 3DS doomsayers are like those homless guys by the street that yell at everyone, saying that the world will be coming to an end???
Don't you think it's still a bit early? A lot of the heavy hitting titles aren't even out of the gate.
Wii online isn't as bad as people say it is anymore. Mario Kart, Goldeneye, Call of Duty, Monster Hunter... all pleasant experiences. That said... I remember when I first tried to play Smash online.... One of the worst experiences of my life.
People should really just wait until the console is released, or close to release before judging...
Most definitely.
That's pretty dumb.
Well, I'll wait for the revision. And then trade my old one in...
It's because fanboys are so stalwart in their resolve, they won't buy another system, even if it has a lot of games they want to play.
That's why I own all 3 consoles(Although I also have a PS2, Gamecube, N64, Super Nintendo, and NES), 3DS, PSP, and a really sweet gaming PC!
I'm proud to have been a gamer for nearly 25 years.
You can't predict how consoles will go when it comes to the games it will get. Unless it's Nintendo. You know you'll be getting all the classic franchises. Because of all the first party intellectual properties. Not saying Sony doesn't have a lot. Because they do. Just saying that you can't guarantee that third or second party developers are going to make the games for your system of choice.
I was pretty surprised how few JRPGs PS3 got this gen too. Still...
Who knows how that would have worked out though... most Sony people buy Monster Hunter for PSP... as it stands... Monster Hunter Tri is by far the best selling console game in the franchise. Also... Fatal Frame IV for Wii was also by far the best selling game in the franchise. Food for thought. I think that when it comes the niche genre's, the Wii picked up where the PS2 left off.
Good point. Might as well write that Mario and Zelda should be on PS3. :P
Thank you!
One thing... Xenoblade's grand size would have been impossible on the PS3(if rendered in the same level of detail as FFXIII), it would have cost significantly more, and taken years more to build... just saying.
Agreed. Sometimes I want to adjust settings... or do ..I don't know... random things. But I'm always forcved to quit the game first. Sad Pandas.
Actually... almost all PS3(and xbox 360 for that matter) games run at 720p, and in some cases somewhere around 600p. So, if anything, it would be the first Sony console to output /all/ games natively at 1080p. The first console that will have native 1080p output is however going to be the Wii U.
If I was to guess though... Sony might shoot to have a system so powerful that it can output at full 1080p in 3D natively. That would be glorious.
I'm still happy with my PS3. If they really offer something to make me upgrade I'll do it... but... the graphics are already great.
That's freaking awesome! When the price of that comes down.... I'm totally getting one!
Both.
They should really follow Sony on that one. Region locking consoles just encourages piracy.
Well... we can use our own external drives for the system... so maybe they will allow install to an external drive in a firmware update. I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
Lame!
