I think I am in the PC gaming Twilight Zone. EA actually does something to benefit customers, and MS is finally going to kill GFWL next year.
Except the most popular games for the most part are multi-platform and miles better on PC. Enjoy BF4 at 720P on your "Next Gen" console. There are whole genres of games that PC has that are not even available on the consoles. Not to mention a real gamer has both.
Yep, until someone does something fresh with real time combat I am done with MMO's. Everything is the same, cartoon graphics with WOW style gameplay. Pretty stale IMO. I will say though the new Everquest has some interesting ideas.
Totally agree Lawson72. I have had zero problems, games do run better and I like the storage pool and file history features that were not available in 7. I don't get all the hate for Windows 8. If you don't like metro, DON"T USE IT. Otherwise it's better than Windows 7 in pretty much every way. Not to mention it was super cheap when released, got a boxed pro upgrade copy for $40, and yes you can do a clean install from the upgrade disc. I will never go back to 7.
