Everyone seems so worried about graphics but what I really want is next gen gameplay experiences. I don't want games to look better than last gen but still utilize dumb ai or the same old tired game mechanics. We should start seeing improvements across the board. Gameplay and graphics in that order.
I envy pc gamers cause they get so many games we don't get on console. However I'm glad that when i buy a console game I don't have to worry about whether my console can run it at the highest level of detail or if it will run the game at all. I like knowing what I am getting into. So for me there are advantages and disadvantages to whatever you game on. If you have the time and resources to have it all more power to you but I don't so I'll stick with my consoles.
I like the way this game looks. Setting seems awesome and I hope the story can match it. I hope the gameplay is fun and has a bit of tension to it. Quantum break looks good as well. I'll probably get an xbox one in about 2 or 3 years so I can play some xbox exclusives and it will definitely be a game I check out.

Let the people that keep saying there aren't any games not play them. In the meantime I'll be having a hard time trying to figure out how I'm gonna find time to play diablo, metro, destiny,shadow of mordor, project cars and farcry 4 this fall That's just this year. I wanna play evil within too. I don't care if games are first party or third, aaa or indie, there are plenty of games to play and plenty more coming Thank goodness for this new generation of consoles.

I don't know. Xbox has crackdown 3, fable legends, ghost of a tale, grave, neverwinter, quantam break, scalebound, and sunset overdrive as exclusives or console exclusives that interest me. Ps4 has bloodborne, magicka 2, the order, uncharted, and until dawn. That's alot more for Xbox than I had realized before I actually looked at the Wikipedia lists.

dlc exclusivity isn't the same as missing out on an entire game.
I hope Microsoft doesn't think that tombraider will catch them up to sony in this console generation. At this point it would take a miracle for them to catch up to the ps4 and nothing they showed at this press conference is that miracle. Don't get me wrong, I like the look of quantam break and a few of the indie games I saw but I didn't see anything that is going to make me switch my preorder for the destiny bundle to an xbox one.
I think Microsoft paid for tombraider because they don't have something like uncharted.
I have to say I'm getting tired of hearing about all of these remakes myself. If I want to play a last gen game I'll play it on a last gen system. When I move into new gen on 9-9 with my destiny ps4 you better believe it is to move forward with new games and new ip's. Not to play the same games I was playing before. This is just my personal opinion. These publishers will make money any way they can so if people support all of these re-releases then they will keep putting them out....
Gotta decide between mordor and lords for oct. Would get both but I have dragon age and far cry preordered for nov. I will eventually have both though.
I love lotr and i think this game is going to be awesome. The nemesis system seems like a good addition to this genre. Something new never hurts. This will probably be my October game since dragon age got pushed back. Too many big games this fall. Looks like I'm getting my ps4 at the right time.
I enjoyed the Destiny beta. I'll reserve judgement on whether each planet needs more than one location for when the full game releases and I can see how much content is in the locations they do have. I played the beta on my ps3 but have the ps4 bundle preordered. I absolutely can't wait until 9-9.
These same fanboy arguments just get old. Believe me both Microsoft and Sony are making money. There are factual numbers out there that will tell you which company is selling more systems. Unless you know these numbers and can show proof whats the point because anything anyone says can be counted as biased opinion base on which console they are arguing for. As gamers we all have our opinion about what game is good and what game is not. Some people like Halo and some don't. Some people like Me...
Why is this even being discussed in the manner that it is. Everyone is worried about what. Square is really going to hurt one of the greatest franchises in rpg history to appease Microsoft. How about they are going to make the best game they can for both platforms and see that they make tons of money off of it. I'm so tired of getting nickle and dimed by these game companies. Especially for content that should already be in the game. They will find any way they can to get more money out of us. The problem is there are those that are willing to pay so not only will it not change but things will get worse. I have nothing negative to say about anyone who chooses to buy these season passes or any additional content for a game because we all have a right to do what we want but for me its just wrong. ...
