I think it’s because most people know that this isn’t MS being nice, this is business and they would get fired if they conduc5 themselves in a way that goes against MS’s interests in the scope of their employment. The reason why MS execs are remarking is because they need to acknowledge the competition or else their silence would do more harm to MS otherwise. It’s really a message to their own base not to worry.

@shadowWolf712
You see what I mean? The first guy thinks white people are under attack, the second guy thinks what I said means I don’t like boobs in games and that I’m saying something about white people(?), and the 3rd comment, although correct for the most part, thinks what I’m saying is going against freedom of speech because he doesn’t know that there are very sensible restrictions on the freedom of speech. That is the danger I was referring to. Someone says “SJW” and everyone a...

People would think he is trolling. Honestly, if right now he came out and said, “I wanna congratulate MS for SoT”, I personally would think he was trolling. Besides, if Playstation are getting a new heavy hitter every month, I think it would be unfair for Shu to congratulate the competition. But if they had no games coming out, then theoretically there would be room to congratulate MS for something good they release.

I thought I would love it but I was also sure that it could not possibly meet the unrealistically high expectations of the hype surrounding it, boy was I wrong! (And I’m not even done yet, I’ve barely started) . This game is a feast.

Oh, I wasn’t talking about kotaku or polygon or the rest you mentioned, as I’m not even aware of the facts of those. I was specifically referring to generalized statements about “sjw” or other hot topic keywords being thrown around these days because I feel some people are led astray when they hear these words, and that can be a dangerous thing when these keywords are picked up by more fringe segments of our society.

Basically, what I was trying to say is that we should tre...

You mean white men (don’t have to be white nor men btw) who use their position to speak words that offend others and in the process encourage that sort of mentality giving it credence and a safe harbor.

Don’t get me wrong, there are people on both sides of the spectrum who love to be offended for silly things, but we should be careful not to over simplify the world. Sometimes a person should be held accountable for what comes out of his/her mouth.

I think it’s because we are comparing it to the alternative way a lot of children play these days (on iPads).

Also, I believe the correct word is “imagination” instead of “creativity”. Labo comes with instructions so the word creativity might be incorrect because you are told how to make the item you don’t come up with the idea/design yourself. BUT, playing with Labo requires “imagination” because the user has to imagine a scenario that is not real. For example when I was ...

Thank you. I honestly don’t know why you got two downvotes. Lol. You gotta give it to Nintendo for coming up with new innovative ways to play. If I had a child I would want them to use their imagination when they play.

To be fair Zelda is a great game, but your point stands. Now add the fact that this was re-imagining, and it’s even more impressive what they have achieved with God of War.

With the box* (:

I think Labo is great. God knows we need our kids to start thinking with a little more imagination instead of being on a iPad game 24/7.

Yes you are right. I know it’s aimed at kids but I actually really like the idea. I wish they would also make some smaller ones and use a single cardboard plus instructions (essentially origami) because that way you would be learning something you can show off anywhere where there is a piece of paper while you have the best version (Labo version) at home sitting on your desk for show. That way you can collect them as well.
