My play through was just over 90 hours playing on hard to get the platinum. Loved it. A little slow to start then thought it was fantastic. Great, beautiful game. No problem with the pop in. Didn’t detract from the game much at all.

I agree. Something magical about PS for sure. I have owned every PS console at launch and each generation has been absolutely incredible. Curious, I know we are way too early in PS5 lifecycle to include it, so what has been your favorite PS generation? PS1,2,3 or 4?
I will be sad when it is over too, as I was with Days Gone and so many games.
It is different with Ratchet, true. I wonder what magic some of the PS studios will cook up near the end of the PS5 life cycle. I love gaming haha
Yeah, Ratchet was a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see what the rest of this generation brings when it comes to SSD utilization.
The load times are insane, especially if you turn off the need to press x on the load screen to continue. It will just do it automatically and is so fast.
I am loving this game so much. I don't think I will be at 200 hrs to plat, maybe 125 or so (about halfway there I am guessing). So fun.

I am getting through Forbidden West first, which I am loving btw, before I move on to Elden Ring. Any patches yet improving performance?
Exactly. I only want to play it the way the devs intended, but if someone else needs this to really enjoy the game, then go for it. Have fun, so will I.
Very cool what people can do in Dreams. I am a PS only guy, but if any game should be ported to PC, it is this game. The amount of new talent making games inside Dreams would be so beneficial to the whole community.
This is gonna be my best friend and I's go to game I think. I love Returnal so much, and co-op is gonna be so sick.
Will definitely tune in for this. I am hopeful this turns out great as I LOVE the original.
The beginning was slow to me also, and I loved the first one. But I am loving it now. 9/10 for me and can't wait to see where it goes.
Ray Tracing is off during gameplay and on during replays (if you have it switched on in the menu). I hope they bring out a performance RT option soon with a lower resolution to allow 60fps ray tracing during gameplay. That would be nice
I like the Returnal explanation on dealing with the different kids. I totally understand that. I was a high school teacher and coach so I know how I had to wear different hats for different kids for them to hear me and be successful.

I got the platinum. Not an easy task with the random levels being generated. There are some pretty good sites out there that can narrow down what to look for on your run to see if it will be there or to start over. Felt so great when I finally got it.
Definitely. Love this game so much. One of the best, if not the best, experiences I’ve had on PS5 so far.
120fps and DualShock features still to come. Disappointed it wasn’t all included in this update
