Halo 3 sold around 12 million units on over 80 million systems, that's around 12 percent. Uncharted sold almost 9 million on 53 million systems. That's almost 20%, see the difference now.
1st party games selling more than 3rd party ones is extremely rare due to the basic facts that more systems means more money. People talk about 1st party games only in that some choose their system of preference based on that system's exclusives. I don't think anyone really thinks that 1st party games would beat these 3 listed.

I never said MS won't have a good year, I don't think their exclusive list stacks up well against Sony's at all, but I don't think it's gonna be bad either. But MS exclusive sales have not been great overall except for halo, and many...
I'll just leave some little nugget of knowledge for you since you appear to have very little. But Halo 3, the biggest exclusive for Xbox 360 sold only to a little over 12% of the total install base. It's painfully clear how insecure you are with your purchase, so feel free to downplay the other system. It's doing quite well without your help...

Difference is there are many newer, different games coming between them. Can't say the same about xbox unfortunately. Also, what is ff20 ultra blah blah blah, is that supposed to be final fantasy? Cuz that's multiplat. Also, Sony hasn't dedicated 3 studios to making the same games over and over. Do you really think that's a good idea???

I disagree completely, Alan Wake was a great story because it was linear. If they would've made it open world the story would have suffered since most open world games focus less on story.
Less devs out there is not a good thing...they've made a lot of mistakes but I wouldn't want them to die off. Even Capcom screws up a ton, but I wouldn't want them to disappear.
