ps5 looks like day 1 for me
this idea has been touted before, streaming console quality gaming through the internet without you having latest hardware, hardware consoles are here to stay as they deliver better graphics without the lag variable, playstation + gives you free games and online gaming, i mean if you're playing on pc, why would u play through a web browser when games have their own programs to launch from, we have to see, im not 100% convinced

sony has best games this generation as well and a hardware advantage until x dropped, next gen is already in the horizon, microsoft should've just worked on a next gen and released it earlier than ps5 to secure next gen win

If history is any indication, hardware dont matter if people dont have the games they want to play, ex. Ps2 vs xbox, way more powerful hardware but ps2 had games for everyone and the best gamese, if microsoft dont step up and start getting at least 10 studios+ making first party games they will never win sony on the software front
Stop being cheap, consoles should cost 800+ by now, ppl change phones every 1 or 2 years and plunk down 800+ for one and dont bat an eye, here you have a gaming system that can last 10 years or more if it doesnt break down, for the money it is very very worth it for the entertainment it brings, thats like 80 an year for 10 years, not to mention if we are willing to pay more, dont u think sony will put better hardware and overall u have a better gaming experience ? his biggest mistake is not jumping on the vr bandwagon
a ps4 slim + vr is roughly 700-750, with pro 800-900, if bought used much cheaper or 500 for an xbox
i think most people who wants vr will go with ps4 slim/pro + vr rather than a more powerful console that will look more like ps4 pro games since most developers will start from ps4/ps4 pro then migrate it to xbox and enchance it a little, it will look better but wont make me rush out and buy one
