Nice comments, bubbles up.
I am naturally, a complainer.
But, to be happy with what you get, is a good philosophy that I try to live by.
but you still shouldn't badmouth VF. They're both really good fighters. The author has no idea what he's talking about. Calling Tekken as no fun!!!!!!!
I must say that whoever wrote this article, doesn't know fighters or doesn't play them. Either way, horrible article.
Agree totally, Bubbles up.
I'm a fighting fan myself, and although I haven't played as many as you, I completely agree. Always preferred Tekken, and VF. Soul Calibur felt a little on the button mashing side. I think the only balanced version, was the original Soul Calibur. But it's an opinion.
I loved the 1st Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast. However, on successive sequels, the gameplay system became too easy and more open to button mashing. Tekken was always my favourite because of the deep combo system and variation of moves.
Thanks for the info
Tekken is different from Soul Calibur. Soul Calibur feels more arcadey and "button mashee". I prefer Tekken but they're both good. I'll probably get disagrees, but whatever. I got to express my opinion.
OK, that might be true. But could there be a negative side, if players keep playing old games. Would the amount of new video games sold, reduce?
Informative Response appreciated. Not just disagrees.
That was pretty funny :-)
The Tekken franchise is my favourite.
But I like Tekken Tag more than DR, but I didn't play DR in the arcades.
My favourites in no particular order, because I can't decide;
- Tekken Tag
- Mortal Kombat 3
- Street Fighter 2 Turbo
- Dark Stalkers
- Tekken DR
- Virtua Fighter 2
- Killer Instinct
- X-Men vs Street Fighter
- Soul Calibur
how people disagree with you for no reason.
BTW, I'll probably get disagrees for this.
From what I can see, the Boss is alright.
But for another future Tekken, I want the exact opposite for a boss. A very small, and fast character. It might change how you play the game.
Just my opinion. Don't disagree with me, for posting opinions.
I think everybody is oversensitive. I only have the PS3 and I love it, but I always think of ways of to improve it. A longer USB cable might be nice, system update sometimes take too long to download and I have no idea why, 1st party IR converter should be made available from Sony. I have no problem with the font size, and don't care about the PS2 controller problem.
People, lighten up a bit.
...
I won't argue about what Sony's priorities are. I don't know anything about that. However, considering you are on N4G, I can assume you are a gamer, and know what the PS3 has. Shouldn't that be enough for you? I mean how does advertising convinces you to get one, when you already know the games coming out? Just an opinion.
Uncharted, and GT5P.
Judging by graphics alone, I have not seen anything comparable on the X360.
Contrary to popular belief, lightning usually strikes the same place more than once.
I miss the arcade fighters the most.
I could spend a dollar, for half hour of gameplay.
That offends me as well, but I don't know why.
I just recently played against my friend split screen in warhawk. I thought that was offline. I didn't think I needed a connection to play against him though a lan.
