I hardly agree with the statement of 300 hours across 3 games is "casual", lol.
Oh, I'm sure we can all count on another Gears of War title coming next-gen. Just hard to say if it'll be developed by Epic or People Can Fly.
Since we haven't seen gameplay, I think it's hard to judge if this should be a full-fledged release or not.
They want to reach a wider audience though. Not to mention putting those three on the cover would cause everyone to say the Heat are "cheap" in 2K13.
Yeah, that's what the press release currently states.
Most Xbox Live users are fine w/ paying for the yearly subscription to Xbox Live but the service is great.
I personally prefer to pay for Xbox Live over the PSN+ due to the online interface being better, in my opinion. However, to each their own.
I'd love for NetherRealm to give a new Killer Instinct a shot. Heard quite a few rumors about it too...
The article states that they do sell "well", but not "great". It's referring more to why Sony hasn't produced that "must have" or "it" title with huge sales numbers.
Their games have the gameplay, story, etc., but they aren't pushing them enough.
There must be zombies!
Not much really releasing this week, but kind of expected. I'm glad that Back to Karkand launches on PS3 this week & 360/PC next because that'll have me back on Battlefield 3.
I feel like the PS3 exclusive is that zombie game from 2009 that's Move compatible. You never know though. If they announce that Half-Life 3 is a PS3 exclusive, the fanboy war will start again lol.
Absolutely hilarious.
There's more than one video included in the article showcasing even more proof. Search for "Modern Warfare 3 hacked lobbies" & see the plethora of forum threads that emerge about it going on.
If you remember Modern Warfare 2's hacked lobbies, they had the exact same issues. I JUST played one tonight as well. Wondering if it has to do with this new patch...
Completely agree with you. While they may have had a slip-up or two, they're still a great company.
@hennessey86 - I just can't agree about BF3's singleplayer. I felt like they had 1-2 great missions, but the rest felt forced & generic shoot, run, repeat. At what point do you feel attached to the main character? They fail to setup that attachment to the character or what's happening to him.
Why can't shooters have an incredible story? It's that sort of mindset that makes an FPS title exactly what it is today.
Running into a lot of the same issues myself. My solution? Play more Battlefield 3.
Rocksteady is a gem of a studio.
I really think Jamal Charles should have suffered a slightly lower rating, as well as Adrian Peterson. You can't give those guys such crazy ratings to start when we don't know if they've fully recovered.
