I guess I'm just a little to used to the whole console war thing. I read "Ratchet and Clank" and wrongly assumed that he was on a pro PS3 agenda. I just read it in the wrong light. Thanks for clearing that up for me.
When Fable 2 and Far Cry 2 come out. So I'll probably buy this.
But I don't understand his argument. He doesn't understand paying for a game he hasn't played? And then not being satisfied when he drops the money for it?
Don't you take that exact same risk with every game... ever?
I'll have no problem booting up GTA again. Heck, I never stopped playing it. The DLC will become highly publicized by various sites once we know what it is, and that will probably create interest in it all over again.
Just what I think.
I actually never considered dropping past review scores. I don't actually think that it should be done, but it's an interesting idea.
One thing that I left out of my post because it didn't fit in fluidly was that perhaps reviewers could add a new blurb at the end of an already written review, that would detail certain things that had changed with a patch. And perhaps add a "new" review score in the blurb.
Just a thought.
I actually got some people to debate. That's awesome.
I'm also glad that you guys were pretty respectful about it.
Not to 360 players they aren't...
That's why. :)
I own a laptop. Not a PC. I didn't want a laptop for games, just for school, so that's what I got. You are the ignorant one, even if the only fault in your logic is not knowing anything about me.
TF2 deseves to be played by anyone who can, a real fan would know that. :)
Yeah... but is calling him fat really the way to go? Anyone who calls him fat because they feel spited comes off as uneducated. 6th graders call people fat.
And you're right, I'm not an Orange Box PS3 owner. But all I was saying is that you guys could try doing something worthwhile about it instead of calling Gabe fat and running off.
And if Valve hates PS3, then so what? Just move along. You bought the game, maybe you learned a lesson? I don't know, I haven't be...
I wanna see monkeys!!!
I think it looks pretty good.
There, I said it.
Even though it wasn't on the list?
I much rather just play it on the Xbox 360 that I payed for... instead of going out and buying a $600 or $700 hundred dollar computer.
Easy as that. Nobody here has played the game. Yet places like IGN that gave it an E3 award, have. They said it was fun. They even admitted to not liking the direction Banjo was taking with the new game, but coming around when they got to play with it. This guy hasn't played the game, but has seen a couple of videos. I would believe a place that has played it over a place that has watched it any day.
Plus, it's only the Banjo Fanboys that are hyping up the game, no professional...
I do get the feeling that this site is heavily pro Sony, just from what I've seen. I don't have a problem with there being fans of a specific console, but there's a limit to how far it sould go.
P.S. I would say the exact same thing if I felt N4G was heavily pro Microsoft or Nintendo.
Fable 2 and Far Cry 2 day one. This sucks, because I may have to skip out on Mercs 2 to get Spider Man. I loved Spider Man 2, and still play it. I don't know what to do, because I loved Mercs 1 as well.
I am very sad :(
Braid is not the best game of all time. But I felt it was worth a ten. I never even thought about the top ten list. But then again, Brawl doesn't deserve to be #1 either. Maybe this will compell someone to write an honest review about Braid that gets voted through.
I agree though, it's not the best game ever.
I realized that I had the wrong title for it. But it was late, and I just wanted to post it up.
My blog post wasn't anti-Sony. And as I said, PS3 fans saying the Xbox just got "Hazed" was fair enough, because I assumed that the Xbox fans had done the same thing to Haze (and apparently Lair). In my third paragraph, I pointed out that I just found it stupid how many people were calling Xplay Microsoft centric, when they were heavily backing PS3 games. And then I stated ...
I never left mine on for over a week, but I have left it on for 4 days. I left for Labor Day weekend last year, and forgot that I had left on my 360 to download a demo the night before. I came back and it was on.
Still no problems though.
